Had the same problem - decided to obey the laws of physics - I adjusted the humidity level and tube temperature until I achieved settings that were comfortable without popping

What is in the hose that you are trying to clean. The only thing that flows through that hose is filtered air passing over distilled water.(assuming you are using distilled water).
