Upper and Lower Limit Adjustment
Hello Folks, I've bought a Devilbiss Intellipap (AutoAdjust) CPAP DV54D from cpap.com I need to adjust its lower limit currently set at 4.0 cmH2O (to 8.0 cmH2O) and its upper limit at 10.0 cm H2O (to 13.0) similar to my Puritan Bennett 420E which I can handle myself. I'm an OFW based here in Dhahran...

Re: Gradual decline w/therapy effectiveness with A-Flex?
Interesting, I have been feeling way more fatigued lately when I get up, during the day like prior to CPAP therapy and/or no therapy at all. So last night I thought I would switch out my A-Flex and back to my 420e, time wasn't quite accurate on the 420e display so I fired up my Sony laptop and plug...

Back-Up Machine?
How long have you been using your machine/unit? When do you think is the right time to get a back-up in case it gives up or breaks down?

Have you figured out your most ideal minP in Autopap?
After over a year of autpap use at 9cmH2O min and 14cmH2Omax with my PB420E, I've finally discovered that the best or most ideal MINIMUM pressure for myself is the one appearing to be efficient more than 90% of time which is 11 as shown in the data. And this holds true even when I switch to straight...

. . . or you may try the foam forehead spacer also designed for comfort classic mask available at cpap.com. Here's the link: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/Foam-Forehead-Spacer-ComfortClassic I prefer the foam to the gel forehead spacer. _________________ CPAPopedia Keywords Contained In This Post...

PB420E Max Pressure for Command on Apnea: 10?
After over a year of autpap use at 9cmH2O min and 14cmH2Omax with my PB420E, my data indicate that my pressure efficient more than 90% of time is 11. Out of curiosity, I've decided just these past 7 days to shift to straight CPAP at 11cmH2O, and to my surprise my AHI is much lower. I'm toying with t...

I'm a contract worker here in an oil company here in Saudi Arabia. I have decided to get 2 units of same model (PB420E) in the USA and 1 Goodknight H2O humidifier. Since PB420E works very well in my treatment, I find it wise to get same model for my back-up so that I just have one software (Silverli...

All the more reason to not deliberately remove the mask at 4 or 5 a.m. hoping to get a couple hours of so-called "real" sleep before time to get up. Why do we do that? I know this is usually the ONLY time I remove my mask, and for me, it's because I do feel like I can get some added sleep without t...

Switching from AutoCpap to BiLevel?
Hello friendly folks. I'm an AUTOcpap (PB420E) user and can tolerate varying pressures set between 9cmH2O min. and 14 cmH2O max, which often give me 1.5 AHI. My data show 11 cm as my 90% average pressure per night. Just wondering in case I switch to bilevel machine (say PB425)with 13 cm (IPAP) and 9...

Acoustical Vibration - PB420E
I'm currently using PB420E with a humidifier. Have no leak problem with my mask. My AHI is superb, between .8 and 1.5 at a pressure of 8 to 10 cmH2O. My only concern though is the acoustical vibration ranging from 450 to 670 since I sleep on my back most of time. To minimize my snoring, I used to se...

Last November 2006, I ordered one (1) Inlet Tube with Swivel Assembly for Mirage Activa and Vista CPAP Masks from cpap.com and the price then was about $15.00. Now it's price list shows its current cost of $39.95. I've tried to search other website (thecpapshop.com) and the price of this product is ...
