Re: Battery power packs for camping
All I can say is.... Type in Lipo fire in Google images and see what comes up...Do you really want that next to you when you sleep? I will try to stay outside of Google or Youtube or any news report with my LiPo accumulaters and I use a lot of them. Their safety circuits have to be constructed well...

Re: Battery power packs for camping
Hi MartinZZZ, Lead batteries need 6 cells for reaching nominal 12V. Maybe a bike even will start with 5 cells ... These batteries tend to die one cell after the other ... Motocycle and car lead batteries are designed to deliver high currents but they are extremly sensitiv against deep discharging. T...

Re: Encore is one big Zip File--How to Install?
- Create a new folder
- drag all files of your zip-folder and drop them in this new folder; after that you can close the zip-folder
- double click the file 'EBsetup' in your new folder and the installation will start.

Re: Battery power packs for camping
Hello MartinZZZ, welcome to this forum! ... Was thinking about two of these , in parallel witha pigtail cord as described by Game Padre in this topic on here... That might work but I remain skeptical. The voltage conversion is not designed for such high peak currents - no good technical solution! Ju...

Re: Battery power packs for camping
I have a PRS1, model 562 (European model) at 8 mbar and I measured the power consumption. The results could be interesting here because they explain why certain types of batteries will not work. The reason should be current peaks of about 6 amps! The measurement was done with a logging multimeter. I...

Re: sleeping under the blanket with CPAP>?
It works. I used a fleece blanked to cover the head. But it was too warm, much too warm! Normally you lose on the head and breathing a lot of heat, which does not work under a blanket.
It is suitable for extremely low temperatures, otherwise it takes a long time to get used to it.

Re: How many people have a back up unit?
I got two complete PRS1 562 incl. mask and extra hoses, one by insurance, one bought by myself and I got a battery for backup or camping.

Re: looking to buy battery
The Transcend needs 14 - 18 VDC, the DeVilbiss needs 12 VDC, right? Some considerations to your question, unfortunately no solution: If you want to travel by plane and use lithium batteries you should not exceed 100 Wh. - For the DeVilbiss would the upper limit (travel by plane) at about 8 Ah, it sh...

Re: Climaline hose making popping noise
There should be a thermostat for the heated hose. Maybe the popping noise comes from switching the current for the hose?

They are blocking my IP. I have tested it with an anonymizer. Don't they like my internet provider, don't they like Germans looking at their site?!
It doesn't matter really, now I can read and understand the thread ... thanks!

Re: Question re: F&P Auto - Water in Hose
It may be difficult to determine the function of the heated tube, since the temperature should has just so few above room temperature. It is best to compare the hose temperature by touch another object.
If the heated hose works, can you increase the temperature?

Have you got a heated hose as displayed if clicking your profil? Perhaps it does not work or the setting should be changed?

Hello,
If the PRS1 has previously documented credible values and slow breathing suddenly no longer recognizes now, the device is probably still defective.
