Sleepyhead Clock Question
OK, We have traveled 2 time zones east of where we originally set up Sleepyhead, and it seems to persist in reporting everything 2 hours earlier than actual. I checked the computer OS time... it is properly set. Help. Does Sleepyhead report times sent to it by the APAP? Do I need to change settings ...

Re: "Vibratory Snore Event" Question?
Part of my question is based on my practice of thinking "She snores... She sleeps" If we're looking at the events from the previous night, and trying to determine actual hours of sleep, the snore has seemed like the only way to guess sleeping hours. Not I'm not so sure if there's actually any way to...

"Vibratory Snore Event" Question?
I will post the image file of this later, but.... On many night my wife (Myjanine) has these multiple strings of Vibratory Snore Events, and when we see this in Sleepyhead we just assume that this MUST mean she is honestly asleep. But then I see them often within a minute or two of the morning shut-...

Re: FUN with CPAP :)
In Puerto Vallarta today, then down the coast (and 2 more inflation's) until we reach Melaque where I've got my kite pumps to perform this job cheaply. I set the Resmed to 12.5 to get the job done, then returned it to 6.0. The weather is absolutely idyllic here, and I presume once y'all return to yo...

FUN with CPAP :)
Don't try this at home. Came to Mexico and we forgot our pump to put air into a Coleman mattress. It was either face an hour of mouth-to-matress, or....? Set up resmed to 12.5 and inflate! Use a $600.00+ machine to inflate a $2 mattress. Done in 45 seconds. Thank You CPAP people for showing me how t...

Re: Crapria strikes again... (issues with getting machine)
Ha! Just learned a new term "CRAPRIA" Like We have had that shittiest service in any lifetime history of any medical care of 60+ years. Latest SNAFU? Crapria recommends, and delivers a Swift™ FX Nano Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear... and now when we're asking for parts and replacement... "Sorry, we d...

Chocolate & Sleep?
I know this has zero foundation on any Google search or medical support, but... I have a pet theory that I've been working or for a few years. On days when I eat a serving of dark chocolate (especially in the PM) I always wake up many times during the night. This has a distinct feeling which is diff...

3rd World Power Supply Question
OK, Maybe rural Mexico isn't actually "3rd World" but the place we live every winter seems to have frequent "brown-outs" and other power supply oddities. Should I be concerned? The power rarely drops entirely... but somewhat more often than in WA State USA.

Re: CHANGE MY OWN PRESSURE?
Best decision ever made. Pay attention to the information on this forum, and take control. Without this... we would have been waiting at least a month any slight incremental changes to occur. Easier than programming your VCR that flashes 12:00 all day & night (you DO remember those?). The process is...

Re: nasal pillows better than full face?
Plus side: Less stomach gas, bloating, belching, f++ting. Less straps and head gear BS Negative: The exhaust ports on the Swift™ FX Nano Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear is just plain stupid engineering. A $.002 plastic "bonnet" to somehow re-direct the blast seems uber simple. Experimenting with a DIY...

DIY Modify Nano Exhaust Venting?
Would it be reasonable to try a do-it-yourself modification to the exhaust venting on the Swift FX Nano? I have read hear that others complain about the exhaust being bothersome. Maybe some tape?
Thank You,
myjanine

Re: Exhaust venting differences in masks? FX Nano quite breezy
Help. My wife (myjanine) is finding this mask to be the most comfortable of all the available options (the Swift FX Nano, pictured below). But... The annoying exhaust venting is now what wakes Janine up several times each night. Have any of you experienced this same annoyance... and found a solution...
