I have SPO2 v2.7, maybe that would help?
We should really start a page where people list what version they have, so we can swap them around in case someone has a version that isn't working for them.

Re: OT - Statins and You
I think the main issue is with the lipophilic statins that penetrate muscle and cross the BBB, the hydrophilic statins are much less of an issue. I have yet to see someone on one of the most hydrophilic statins have any issue. Also, the hydrophilic statins were shown not to be associated with diabe...

Re: Diagnosed with Severe at 21 and 15% bodyfat
I would suggest finding a competent sleep medicine physician and starting CPAP/APAP therapy, as has been echoed above. Ones fitness level has little correlation with sleep apnea for the majority of people. There are people that have it made worse by carrying extra weight, and some people can even ge...

Re: Vit D Can be bad for you
Also, as a reminder, you want to get your levels checked twice a year, once at the beginning of March, and once at the end of August, being the trough and peak of Vit D3 levels respectively. If you can stay between 50 and 100 at each of those tests, you're doing it right. Also, too much of anything ...

nothing to be terribly concerned about Would you mind if I maintained a level of moderate concern? While continuing with my morning espresso with Kahlua, of course? To each their own, but I'm sure you can find things of actual import of which to be moderately concerned, if you need something with w...

Re: Vitamin B-12
Given the nature of blood tests, if its in your blood, it has been absorbed, now conversion to active metabolites, that's a different story, but as far as absorption goes, if you have high levels in your blood, absorption is not an issue. If you weren't absorbing it, it wouldn't' be in your blood to...

Re: Vit D Can be bad for you
I have my vitamin D level checked regularly and my target is 75-80. I am currently taking 18,500 IU per day and finally got my level up to 74. I won't be reducing my dosage until my blood test indicates that my level is significantly over 80. I do pay attention to many MDs who study nutritional req...

From the Institute of Medicine:

There is no currently defined upper intake limit for B12, which is usually a good sign it is nothing to be terribly concerned about.

Re: Accident prone (please read please)
First off, the Ambien is your most likely culprit regarding what is going on. It is well known for causing all kinds of after effects in the daytime including clumsiness, forgetfulness, etc... It is also likely the source of you still feeling tired. I wouldn't start anything like Nuvigil until you g...

...Hey, my sister-in-law still to this day won't go within fifty feet of a microwave because she's convinced it will fry her brain (or what remains of it). Well, there might be something to that, if you're a fetus. There has been some recent research regarding expectant mother and congenital anatom...

I really believe systematic rape like, whether involving children or adults, should be punishable by death. There is just no good reason to keep people like that around on earth.

Since I was talking about Atorvastatin strictly in the context of secondary prevention, I'm not sure the why you are asking about primary prevention. I don't generally like Atorvastatin as primary prevention except in very particular circumstances.

Re: New Rx for Propranolol
Ick, I hate all the IR, short-acting BB's. They cause all sorts of issues. If he wants to keep you on propanolol, you may want to ask him about Inderal LA. Its the ER version of propanolol, so its time to peak activity is longer, so the ramp up isn't as severe, and the duration of action is longer. ...
