Re: Headgear
Leak rate was cut in half last night. Mask felt very stable and strap was very comfortable. It's a little awkward to get on

Re: Benefits of Sleepyhead?
I was ignorant and received the base model cpap when I started. Do yourself a favor and get the apap. Not long after I started using it a had issues with being tired again. I had no way to figure out what was going on with my treatment. Had to do another sleep test and it took 6 months to figure out...

Sleepy head does work with the Aircurve 10 but it has issues with some off the graphs. The pressure graph doesn't work properly

Re: Excruciating gas pains
I have the same issue. The only thing that I've been able to do is lower the minimum pressure. Any time my pressure is over 15 I wake up in horrible pain
I'm using a ranged vpap with the pressure set at 14 epap preassure support of 6 and the ipap max at 21

Re: Distilled water versus boiled tap water
Hi. Thank you all for the kind of answers. My resistance using distilled water is not so much due to the price, although here in Brazil, where I live, it is not so cheap, but mainly due to the difficulty to buy, since the distilled water is not easily found in any store near home, and purchase over...

Re: No longer need CPAP?
It's not that I don't appreciate the advice. I do. That's why I joined this forum. I am just asking honest, nervous questions. I'm not a seasoned CPAP user, so I don't understand the seemingly flippant responses of "this is the way it is, get over it." I have many more questions and concerns that I...

Alaxostent
Anyone hear anything about the availability of the alaxostent. Maybe a clinical trial that I could try to get involved in. Last night was a terrible night for aerophagia. I deal with it everyday but last night was very bad. Looking at alternatives to pap. Even I'd it isn't a complete solution just s...
