COMPARE MIRAGE FX and MIRAGE ULTRA
I am in need of a new nasal mask and liked the ability to disconnect at the nose, so don't need to remove the mask at night when get up with the dog or to go to bathroom. Currently use WISP, which has its own problems. Any thoughts on the differences between MIRAGE FX and MIRAGE ULTRA, which seem pr...

Re: self oximetry testing - new retail product from Virtuox
This is too complicated and hard to follow. Has someone researched this who is able to post the recording oximeters that work with Sleepyhead, the approximate price, and bonus points for the source to order on the Internet, or national retail drugstores.

Heater Hose on my Remstar Sys One doesnt seem to heat hose
Its colder at night, and my air is cold, and I cant feel that the hose it warm, as it used to be. Replaced it, with same cold result. I che3cted the setting to make sure the heated hose is on, and set it at 5 (highest), and still not heating, and as a result getting condensation. Machine and heater ...

Re: If get dental device will Medicare take away CPAP
Any further experience with Medicare and getting Dental Device at the same time, particular before the CPAP is paid for (first 13 months, I understand)? Dental device can help during difficult time with CPAP and when traveling, but hard on the jaw full time.

Re: more sleepyhead oximeter support
Update please. Still looking to buy the least expensive reliable recording oximeter to work with the Sleepyhead software. It looks like this was a work in progress, so perhaps those using these successfully can suggest model(s) and good sources. I wont to have this data accompany the Sleepyhead data...

Know anything about the SOMNAPATCH by Somnarus?
Does anybody know anything about the SOMNAPATCH by Somnarus? They are asking for volunteers to do a sleep study to test it.
I ran a search here on it and didn't find anything.
See http://www.somnarus.com/
Looks like it might be good?
Thanks

Re: Where to donate extra CPAP equipment for needy
I think this was a good discussion to have, and we should collect information about places and organizations where this used equipment, even used masks, can help people in need of them with their apnea this way. I have received a number of private messages from people who seem to be in need asking f...

How to crank up air temp permanently on PR Sys.1 heated hum.
How do I crank up the up air temp permanently on PR Sys.1 heated humidifier + heated hose? I change the settings to a higher heated hose temperature but it goes back each night or sometime middle of night. Perhaps it not the hose temperature but the water or some other setting that needed to be rese...

Where to donate extra CPAP equipment for needy
Not for me, as Im new user, but friend here in Northern California has some used CPAP equipment he would like to donate to help others, who cant afford the equipment. Are their charities that redistribute this?
Would be good to reuse, and save the environment and lives.

compare WISP and Swift FX masks
Using the WISP now, and like the fact that it disconnects from the nose, so don't need to take mask off when get up at night. Its my first mask, and only three months into CPAP. I quess Medicare wont give mask till 6 months, or is it 3 months? Im worried WISP is fragile, and already weakening at sna...

Re: Is there a nasal pillow with removable hose at nose.
Thanks, I am using the WISP, which is okay but its not a nasal pillows, but a full nose cover. It leaks when I sleep on my side, so I wanted the nasal pillows, but these seem to all come with the short hose connected to the nose, so you need to take the whole mask off to get up at night. Swift FX su...
