Re: Cleaning out the CPAP stash...some almost free stuff
Heated Hose for System One 60 series if you have enough. I'm not sure what you mean by the extra stuff. Mine has the dark brown/black end with 3 prongs that attaches to the top of the humidifier. Thanks.

Re: PR System One REMstar 60 Series BiPAP Auto SV Advanced
One other thing I forgot to ask, is there any way to turn it completely off except pulling the plug. On the S9 you just hold the button down. Mine just goes to sleep a little while after I turn off the blower. I usually just leave it plugged in. I haven't seen anything that turns it completely off ...

Re: Nuance Gel Nasal Pillow masks slips off -- any advice?
I really liked the nuance pro pillows but have switched to the airfit P10. I have really super high pressure so I was having trouble keeping the nuance on. I ended up taking a chin strap that I didn't like and cutting a hole in it. I then threaded the pillow hose through the hole. I made my hole big...

Re: ASV - Feedback on SH Data Please
Thanks for your response sawinglogz! Just saw your lament in another thread about not getting much feedback. I'm a fellow ASV user, but I'm not always around. Your graphs look fairly good. The one thing to work on is the leaking -- whenever your PS starts to go up, you start hitting large leak terr...

Re: Nasal pillow leaks and noise
But what do I do about the lip leaks? It appears taping is the only solution. During the 20 minute trial, I could keep my lips closed until I started to doze off and the muscles relaxed, then the lips opened and a lot of air leaked out. This cycle occurred many times, until I finally gave up. I hav...

Re: new user needs help understanding readings
Welcome... I turned off the Smart Start pretty quickly on mine as I found I didn't have the pillows situated very good before it would blow at me. With my high pressure at 21 that was a problem. You told us your humidity is set at 4 for the third night. Did you change it from the first two nights or...

Re: ASV - Feedback on SH Data Please
Thanks Pugsy! Some mornings I wake up very alert and ready to go and some mornings I'm very sluggish. I get aprox an hour less sleep per night while using the machine than before. It's hard for me to judge because I never had some of the same symptoms that are typical of sleep apnea. It was only dis...

Re: ASV - Feedback on SH Data Please
Pugsy, I also checked the Encore Guide and Manual without seeing anything about timed breaths. I was just curious about them. How do my graphs look? Should I change any settings? I will post some new ones since using the P10 mask. It has drastically changed my pressures. I'm not sure why but my 90% ...

Re: BiPAP ASV - Different, but still not great results
Pulling numbers out of a hat here, but my impression is something like: CPAP 75%, BiPAP 22%, BiPAP ASV 3%. Gotta love being unique Yes, I love being unique. And on top of being in that 3% I also have to make it more difficult by having pressure ranging from 21 to 25 which adds a whole new perspecti...

Re: BiPAP ASV - Different, but still not great results
I am too new to all this to be able to help. I'm still trying to figure out my own charts. I posted some graphs about a week ago and only got one response. I wonder how many on the forums are using ASV's? I've been thinking about trying to figure out who is using a ASV and then message them to see i...

Re: Frustrating visit to the dr regarding asthma. Dejected.
I was diagnosed with asthma quite awhile ago but hardly ever used an inhaler. I got to the point that I could not take a deep breathe without going into a coughing fit. After changing doctors, he had me see a respiratory specialist in house. My lung capacity was way under where I should be for someo...

ASV - Feedback on SH Data Please
I thought I'd post a few nights of my graphs to see if anyone sees anything I should tweak a little. I no longer have to get up at night to use the bathroom. My headaches are gone. I still don't have a lot of energy but it is gradually getting better some days are better than others. My leaks don't ...
