Re: Software with F&P icon ?
It doesn't do that. The data stored on the internal memory is normally available for 1 year and even after a year only the oldest data gets written over. Someone could use a dozen different smart cards for downloads and the data on the internal memory will still be there for each and every smart ca...

Re: Software with F&P icon ?
I have that machine and that looks like the card. If the machine dumps the data from internal memory to the card, they might have to be careful doing it with a card they purchase. If the DME sends a card and he puts it in and the machine doesn't have anything in it's internal memory after dumping it...

Turning off machine to do something and now missing data...
What do you normally do if you have to get up to go to the bathroom, or do something? Do you turn the machine off or leave it running without the mask on? I went to bed last night but forgot to fill the humidifier. So I turned it off, got up and filled it, then went back to bed and turned it on. Thi...

Re: Need some advice/assistance -- New CPAP user and frustrated.
I started using saline spray to help avoid drying out when I turned my humidity down. Many here recommend sinus rinses as well. I just saw someone saying they tried saline rinses before bed. I stopped doing those a few months back. I think I will start doing it again and see if that helps. I always...

Re: DME Ignored Doctor's Prescription
I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. Last week I picked up my equipment from the DME. (RES MED S9 AUTO/Nasal Pillows). I had a lot of trouble the first five nights so I contacted my doctor. He told me that the DME did not give me the equipment he ordered...PR System One REMstar Pro CPAP Machi...

Re: Need some advice/assistance -- New CPAP user and frustrated.
Could it be that cpap is causing you nasal congestion? I don't think so. If I take the mask off, I don't find it hard to breathe. It's hard to tell with the mask on, because of the pressure when I exhale, but with the mask off, everything seems normal. 2. When there's a wide open pressure setting l...

Need some advice/assistance -- New CPAP user and frustrated.
I posted this on Reddit too. As an IT guy, I hang out there. But after reading posts there, some people directed others to this place so I decided to post it here too.. So 2 weeks ago I was put on a CPAP machine. They delivered a Icon Auto+. They told me the pressure was set to 5 to 20. I haven't sl...
