Re: Sleep Apnea Paid Group discussion Los Angeles
Dear all — yes the delivery and tone of the message in my post was harsh and personal. I apologise for that. It's surprising what you can say when you wake up after a bad night on the machine. The delivery of the message detracted from the content of the message — which also was a shame. I still mai...

Re: Your feedback is appreciated on my SH data
Where my machine is set on APAP 8-14 with continuous EPR of 3. This would suggest that my minimum pressure is too low? Also the max pressure delivered by APAP is the max pressure dialled into the machine, the thought being that if the max pressure was set higher then the S9 APAP algorithm might go ...

Re: Your feedback is appreciated on my SH data
Your 90% number is less than 10 cm H2O. The average pressure is less than 7.5 cm H2O. Just curious (this is my situation obviously) if my SleepHead stats for past month are: Average Pressure 9.47 Min Pressure 8.00 Max Pressure 14.00 90% Pressure 11.50 Average EPAP 6.47 Min EPAP 5.00 Max EPAP 11.00 ...

Definitely 3.0.3 for me — I even uninstalled and reinstalled from their website. 3.0.3 with the 'Visualize page' functionality.

huh, I don't have the visualize clicky showing up... I'm on the current version, too... (just checked). I'm on version 3.0.3 on Safari on Mac OS X. This is what you should see in the list view — clickable text. http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q610/Photo_OZ/Screenshots/Disconnect_01_zpsc48f5da4....

Re: How to Post Your Report Information
how do you get the cool graphic? I've had disconnect loaded, but never seen anything like that. it also shows me a LOT less stuff probably because of adblock plus, noscript, and a couple of other "QUIT BUGGING ME" things in my browser... I've tried lots of different tools — AdBlock Plus, Ghostery —...

[it's virtually impossible to stop using Photobucket for hosting screenshots on the forum I like imgur better. Hmm... they're not squeaky clean either. http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q610/Photo_OZ/Screenshots/Imgur_Tracking_01_zps369f93be.png I still think the best thing that people can do is ...

Re: How to Post Your Report Information
How to Post Your Report Information I use PhotoBucket.com as an online image storage host. Just as an aside — and this in no way means that folks should not use Photobucket , I use it myself for free online storing of screenshots for the forum — it would be good for people to be aware that Photobuc...

Re: Please analyze sleepyhead data
does the machine need to have a 'baseline' minimum pressure high enough to keep the airway open? Correct. The minimum should be set within two cm of the pressure that your body needs most of the night to keep the airway open. The algorithm does not raise the pressure until it detects trouble breath...

Re: Please analyze sleepyhead data
does the machine need to have a 'baseline' minimum pressure high enough to keep the airway open? But again, then, shouldn't the machine be able — in APAP mode — to figure that out itself. Yes, there is a "baseline" of sorts [...] Using a minimum of 4 or 5 works well if a person only needs maybe 8 o...

Re: Please analyze sleepyhead data
No wonder you feel like crap. Your minimum is set too low. Turn it up to 8 and post your reports again. Hi — I was wondering about that on the OP settings, I've also seen other SleepyHead screenshots where people have minimum pressure of 5, and I've seen people with many events per night. My machin...

Re: Might be a silly Question (AHI}
Hi guy's, just a quick one, woke up early this morning and checked my machine {AHA} reading and it was a reading of 2. Back to sleep and woke up at normal time with a different reading of 1. Question is, so my full AHA reading for the whole night is 3????? or is it that I just had 2 Apnears in the ...

Re: Please analyze sleepyhead data
I'm going to invoke the same disclaimer the SleepyHead author states in his software "...has not been approved in any way for compliance or medical diagnostic purposes". If you are concerned then then really you should be discussing the episode with your health care professional provider, I'm sure y...

Re: The Newbie question
Hi there. Everyone is different and has unique responses to CPAP treatment and feeling 'better' can take some time. I'm still waiting to feel significantly better, but in my case bad back pain from sleeping only on my back now makes things difficult. So you'll find many people struggling here — don'...

Re: Transfer Rescan to a new computer
I use rescan on a Mac via Windows 8 VMware installation. Works great! Make VMWare part of your MacBook purchase for things like this. Both Parallels 9 & VMware Fusion 6 are solid products — I've used them both. I use Parallels at home, in my job (IT Manager) we use VMware exclusively for its enterp...
