I use the nasal pillows and use a nasal decongestant like Otrivin when I have a cold. But, I find that the pressure of the air in the CPAP keeps the nasal passages open and I seldom have to use the nasal spray.

I was one of the lucky CPAP users who got used to my machine from the first night, just over a year ago. Love it. BUT I dream a LOT and some are unnerving nightmares. I switched from a quatro full face mask to the swift fx nasal pillows and a ruby chin strap within a month of my sleep study, with absolutely no issues. Love my nasal pillows. But can't do the nasal pillows without the chin strap...guess my mouth drops open.
