No, proximity is KEY to the function of HumidX.

The goal is to increase the overall hose length. HumidX stays in place. I found a combination of two adapters that allow an extension at the machine side. Will give it a try.

Heard back from insurance. Another person said they won't even try to find a DME that doesn't require a sleep study.
Unless there is a 'light' sleep study that doesn't require me to spend a night without the CPAP, I am just going to buy one out of pocket.
