Re: Remstar Auto Showing 0.0 AHI
Had an AHI of 1.2 last night that showed on the screen. Good to know it works, now I want my 0.0 back.

Re: Remstar Auto Showing 0.0 AHI
Leaks, hours and everything else is showing up fine so yeah that is probably the most likely explanation.

Re: Remstar Auto Showing 0.0 AHI
I'm getting around 0.3 or so a night, it very well could be rounding it down. I'm not even gonna bother looking at the screen any more, as long as it's working and I'm sleeping well then I can live with it.

Re: Remstar Auto Showing 0.0 AHI
Well it's still showing up all zeros, out of warranty as well, but my stats show up in Sleepyhead so I guess I can deal with that considering I only paid $100 for the machine.

Re: Remstar Auto Showing 0.0 AHI
I reset the data, turns out the machine hours were around 1100 rather than the 400 or so I originally thought. I didn't see a "patient" option in the clinical setup menu though.

Re: Resmed Quattro fx users
Interesting. The material on the Airfit F10 cushion irritates my face and causes breakouts, but I love the headgear. I may have to try this and see how it works for me.

Re: Remstar Auto Showing 0.0 AHI
Same as the one in my signature. Doesn't matter when I check it's all 0s all the way down the list. The sleepyhead data is right in line with what I was getting in all categories with my other CPap, which was the same model. It's more of an annoyance than anything else since the machine seems to be ...

Remstar Auto Showing 0.0 AHI
I recently purchased a used Remstar Auto with less than 500 hours, seems to be working great except the machine itself shows a 0.0 AHI while Sleepyhead software is showing what had been my typical AHI with my previous CPap. Any ideas how to remedy this?

iPhone 6 Plus for me. I wasn't sure I would like a larger phone, but now when I pick up my old 5S, it seems so tiny and I wonder how I used it.

If you want quiet, request an Airsep VisionAire, it's small and extremely quiet. The Philips Respironics Everflo is also very quiet, but I've found they're not as reliable as some of the other machines. I'm a tech for a DME company, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Re: Where to donate extra CPAP equipment for needy
Except in some states medicaid only purchases one CPap per lifetime and we all know no machine lasts forever.hyperlexis wrote: Otherwise, truly impoverished people would be on Medicaid anyway and will have access to new machines, etc., through that.

Re: Leak Question
Called the DME and spoke to the RT first thing this morning, she asked me to bring back my mask so I could be fitted for a different mask. We settled on the Amara in medium. I guess I'll see how this one works tonight, hopefully it won't be blowing into my eyes like the Quattro FX.

I'm a mouth breather, the RT that fit me said the FFM would work better for me.archangle wrote:Is there a reason you're using a full face mask in the first place? They tend to be harder to seal than nasal masks.

So the consensus is masks are complicated and flashing avatars are annoying?

Leak Question
I have the Quattro FX FFM in Large and I'm having to tighten it way too tight or I'm getting leaks from the bridge of my nose with the air blowing into my eyes. I'm thinking the mask is too big and that I should go to my DME on Monday and ask for a medium. Does this seem right to anyone else?
