Re: Contec CMS50IW issues
Fascinating, I haven't worn nail polish since my college years, but I'll definitely try to test different fingers and compare with another device. Thanks.

Re: Contec CMS50IW issues
I'll try the shallow breathing method, but I really do have a feeling the oxymeter is the problem. It's strange, because it really nails the heart rate and pulse graph, so I know it's not a hardware issue. Additional evidence is that it really never moves overnight (same straight line) which was not...

Contec CMS50IW issues
Hello, I just recieved a Contec CMS50IW pulse oximeter. I don't think it works. Maybe I'm wrong. Below is a study of me holding my breath for 1:05. I realize there is some latency in saturation decreasing, but I was under the impression it was about 15 seconds. I see no movement at all. The perfusio...

Re: Leak Rate vs. Flow limitations
So the leak rate is about 10 L/min so technically it's OK, but I do see a correlation between Leak Rate vs. Flow limitations. I'm investigating mask liners, but still have a suspicion that it's tough detecting flow limitations without a very low leak rate.

Leak Rate vs. Flow limitations
Hi, I have noticed in a lot of my data that there is a trade off between leak rate and flow limitation. That is, when there is a larger leak rate, flow limitations don't get detected. When there is a good seal, and a low leak rate, suddenly the flow limitations get detected and the CPAP is much more...

Flow Limit Peaks
Hello, It looks like last night was the first night there were significant flow limitations. I think they mighthave been non-medical (i.e. a pinched hose or something similar). It looks like it got to ~0.5 on the resmed s9. They were accompanied by increases in pressure and an above average leak rat...

Re: ResMed S9 Humidifier Clicking Noise (h5i)
Same issue here. Got mine last Tuesday and the clicking is driving me insane. It's not the volume, but the mechanical nature of the sound.
Any tips would be appreciated, I'll contact my DME and resmed.
