Re: Moving data to new computer - no diary

Thank you for your replies above but I have woken today in a poor state and know from experience not to attempt this type of thing or indeed anything technical when like this as I always mess up so hopefully I may try later or if not tomorrow.

Re: Moving data to new computer - no diary

Thank you for your prompt reply but I copied the whole of the sleepyhead data-testing file which contained that particular file, and the rest of my profile worked straight off. It's just that the notes section in which I kept my diary of how I feel and amount of exercise I attempt do not seem to hav...

Moving data to new computer - no diary

I have loaded sleepyhead into my replacement computer and copied over the sleepyhead data testing file and all is well except that my diary has not copied over. Is this information stored in a different folder, and if so does anyone know where to look?

Re: pressure changes and leaks

Well we removed the humidifier last night and we spent the night in the house my wife's AHI has dropped from 10 to 3 again. I know one night does not really signify anything but we will carry out some more tests tonight in the house and while away in the motor home over the weekend. Crossing fingers...

Re: pressure changes and leaks

I had done all of that twice but have now tried to just write it in as a signature and at least in the preview it is showing. Thanks again

Re: pressure changes and leaks

I have now entered my machine details as my wife's equipment is the same as my own apart from the fact that she uses a Philips Respironics wisp nasal mask. She has also tried the swift FX during our tests. We have spent the past three nights in our motor home on the drive to run some more tests and ...

Re: Withings Pulse O2

I have used a pulse O2 for 11 months and it does seem to be reasonably accurate in relation to when I had events and therefore woke. But it really over simplifies matters by the way in which it averages the results. I did do a comparison some time back between My CPAP machine recorded events, Sleep ...

pressure changes and leaks

My wife is using a PR1 machine and we have been trying to reduce her AHI over a number of months it can climb to 16 but is usually round 6-8. Our first discovery was that she seems to be hyper sensitive to any pressure change so we have gradually (over a period of months) narrowed the ability of the...

Re: Newby here - First Oximeter Graphs - any comments?

Your sudden drop looks to be caused by movement of the probe and cannot be deemed accurate. The O2 and pulse are not always effected in the same way as the receiving sensors although usually adjacent are not in an identical position. The probe needs to be better fixed to the chosen finger but not in...

Re: It is possible to get off Cpap by losing weight.

I was told to come off my machine for the same reason (weight loss and sleep test) in June 2014 as I too had lost a high percentage of my weight from the previous year and my sleep test was good. I finally gave it a go coming off the machine from the first of January this year. I initially suffered ...

Re: colonoscopy

I was fully awake for mine and watched the process on the monitor with the camera operator. As said the clean out before and the de-gassing was the worst. I do not know why there is a need to really put you out. I found it quite fascinating to watch and not painful at all, but we are all different a...

Re: What's going on with my spO2 dips? ASV.

I quite agree with the partially dislodged artifact probability. It is quite common particularly with clip on finger type of oximeter when the curvature of the clip is not a good match to the particular digit chosen. Tape can sometimes help but may also act as a pivot point.
