I had a Fisher & Paykel HC608 w/ integrated heated hose, and never had major issues with rainout. I've now moved to an M-Series Auto w/ heated humidifier with no heated hose, and I must say I'm having huge rainout issues. If I have the humidifier set on anything above 2 my hose literally fills with ...

Explaining OSA to the layman
Hi All, I'm looking for simple information that describes what OSA is and what an OSA sufferer goes through, in general terms. I've been having hassles with dry throat the past couple of days - however every time I increase the humidity, I get rainout, which, to me, is far more annoying than the dry throat. The thing is, I have a heated hose, so in theory, I shouldn't be having the rainout issues, especially if I increase t...

I've found the comfortgel to be very comfortable. You need to ensure that you've adjusted the straps correctly. They shouldn't be too tight. Before you start, ensure that the stability selector has been fully extended. Start adjusting via the top head straps. While sitting up, adjust the top straps ...

Do you have a humidifier? It could be that the dry air is causing your problem, or at least aggravating it. I suffer tremendously from sinus issues (I've had several sinus ops over the years), but I can't say I've had any dramatic problems since I started CPAP in May. I've got a Fisher & Paykel HC60...

The UP and DOWN arrows immediatly control the humidity. You must go in the menu for the hose setting by holding the > button for a few seconds until you see a single number and a small hose icon on the lower left. Then, push the UP or DOWN buttons to get the hose heat you want. It only goes from 0 ...
