Re: Resmed Mirage Quattro tubing question
Hmm, I guess I'm wrong. I'll have to take another look - I think it's that the original tubing had a short piece, then a swivel, then the main tube. Replacement tubes don't have that short piece with the swivel.

Re: Resmed Mirage Quattro tubing question
Actually, I just saw that cpap.com does have short tubing, but which one do I choose for the Resmed Mirage Quatro?

Resmed Mirage Quattro tubing question
Hi. I have a Resmed Mirage Quattro mask, and I need to buy new tubing for it. As I recall (I can't look at it right now), the mask has not only the 6 ft. tube, but an additional short piece of tubing between the mask and the main tube. The replacement tubing doesn't come with this piece, and it does...

Re: How can I tell what size Resmed Mirage Quattro I have?
Ha! Just found my own answer! There's a big L at the bottom of the cushion,
Thanks anyway - maybe this will help someone else.

How can I tell what size Resmed Mirage Quattro I have?
I need to order a new cushion for my Remed Mirage Quattro (the original suddenly has a big rip in the bottom!), but I don't know what size I have. I see there's a size template online, but I was wondering if there's a part number on the mask somewhere, or something more definite than using the templ...

Bringing or Obtaining Distilled Water on a Cruise?
I'll ask this of the cruise line too, but thought I'd check here first. I'm going on a cruise soon and will bring my Bi-PAP unit. I've been reading about the strict alcohol policies on the cruise lines (especially mine - Norwegian Cruise Line), and how people try to sneak in alcohol so as to avoid p...

Re: Pressure on Phillips Respironics Suddenly CRAZY High!
Turned out there was nothing wrong with the unit - the DME swapped it for a new one and it's the same. I guess it was just psychological, and I've mostly gotten used to it again. I spoke to my sleep doctor, and he's having them change the pressure from 21 to 20. Not sure that'll make a noticeable di...

Re: Pressure on Phillips Respironics Suddenly CRAZY High!
Any error messages in the LCD? I bought a "never used" machine (REMstar Pro 2) in 2010 and the first time I masked up and turned it on, it about blew my mask off.......come to find out it had a broken (small) hose nipple inside the machine and couldn't regulate the pressure. But, it definitely had ...

Pressure on Phillips Respironics Suddenly CRAZY High!
For the last few nights, while my Phillips Respironics BiPap unit reads the correct max pressure (21), it's obviously WAY too high. Once it ramps up to 21, it suddenly feels like the air is going to come out my ears, and in order to keep the mask from leaking I have to tighten the straps so tight I ...

If your sleep therapy is going well...
...is it necessary to see your sleep specialist again? I do plan to schedule a followup appointment with my sleep specialist, but I'm wondering if it's really necessary. I've been using a BiPap for about three months now, maybe a little less, and it seems to be going great. I actually got a call (vo...

Cats Messing With My BiPap Machine!
It's funny, but a nuisance! We have two kittens that are about 7 or 8 months old, so they get into everything. Last night, one of them sat on my BiPap machine three times - once he pressed the Ramp button so I suddenly had to go through the 20 minutes or ramping time for no reason, and twice he just...

SleepyHead hardware question (newbie)
I assume I have to have an SD card and some kind of reader I can plug into my PC. Can anyone mention the most common reader people use, and what type of card I need exactly? Maybe there's a card in my unit already - I haven't investigated. Links to these items in Amazon, etc. would be fine.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Incorrect number of Therapy Hours listed by PR System One?
My PR System One BiPAP shows the total number of Therapy Hours for the past 24 hours, but sometimes it just seems wrong. Last night I'm sure I wore the mask for a good amount of time, yet it only shows 1 hr 45 min for the past "1 Day" as it calls it. Am I wrong or is it wrong or what? I just checked...

Re: That first unmasked breath in the morning...
I'm only about 2-3 weeks into sleep therapy, but for the first almost 2 weeks I was going to sleep a little earlier than usual (eager to use the unit, I guess). The last two nights I've gone to sleep later, and I find that if it's later and I'm really tired, I can sleep with the mask much better. La...

Re: How does PAP unit connect with WiFi?
I guess you guys are right - it looks like the antenna on an oldish cell phone.
BTW, it wasn't the doctor who said that, but the who delivered the unit and showed me how to use it.
