Re: how do I check total run hours when I pick up my NEW machine
Thanks Kaiasgram! I'm at work right now, where I've been on the phone for over an hour and a half with insurance/intake dept/billing dept and DME provider. So far....... I've been polite, but firm and insistent (as well as near tears and close to some colorful language). I feel like I've ironed out ...

how do I check total run hours when I pick up my NEW machine
I hope to pick up a NEW ResMed S9 Autoset, model # 36005 in the next week. How do I check the total run hours to make sure it is a new machine? Do I tell the technician that I insist on doing that before I accept the machine, or do I ask them to show me the screen/proof?

Re: Newbie trying to make an educated decision
Hello Pugsy, Hello kaiasgram! Thanks for reading my post and for responding. Seven years ago, I lived alone and I had no idea that I snored until I took a trip to Italy with my grown daughters and they recorded me while I was sleeping. They were almost as tired as I was at the end of that trip and t...

Newbie trying to make an educated decision
Hello All! I'm brand new to the forum and was hoping you might be able to offer some advice. I was diagnosed with 'OSA hypopnea syndrome' in 2007. A sleep study back then documented a respiratory disturbance index of 55, oximetry nadir 87% and4% apnea hypopnea index of 14.5. That was a split night s...
