Re: CPAP.com's ridiculously FAST shipping
I drive truck for a living. "CYA" is a lifestyle. In my OP, I also said the truck drivers are on the ball. But USPS won't get it here quickly if cpap.com doesn't have it in their hot little hands. Therefore, I stand by my OP.

Re: New to CPAP
you may want to beat the rush...go to the user control panel and enter your unit info. What machine, mask, humidifier (if any)...and also let them know what pressure your machine is set for.

Re: New Machine, Funny Smell.....???????
I fail to see how pointing out conflicting make/model info is enough to get anyone angry...but I'm a newbie, and I'm easily confused. To that point, you say it's a System One Auto...which is great, don't get me wrong. I like my System One...but your signature pic is of a S9, isn't it? Onto the topic...

CPAP.com's ridiculously FAST shipping
I placed my order Thursday morning. From what I saw, the order was shipping USPS ground from Houston, TX area up to central WI. That's roughly 1,200 miles. Anyhow...my mask arrived this morning in the mail. CPAP.com is ON THE BALL...and so are the truck drivers who got my mask delivered so fast. I j...

Re: Encouraging SleepyHead Donations for Mark's Past Work!
I saw this thread last week, but was running tight with funds, so I had to wait to donate...not as much as I feel the program is worth, but I don't see any limit on how many donations can be made, so....Thank you, Mark, for helping me be proactive in my own treatment.

Re: Nasal Stuffiness with Swift FX Pillows
I only had sinus issues with the FX when the humidity was too high. Once it was adjusted to my body's happy level, all has been great. As far as the hair, how about a ponytail? I wear the rear band just under the fattest part of the back of my head, which keeps it from slipping...

Tips or tricks for proper FFM fitting?
I just ordered my first FFM. Went to cpap.com, as I am more than happy to potentially pay a few bucks more to those who are assisting me. (Thanks, guys/gals!) The free return insurance didn't hurt...nor did the current sale going on on the mask I went for (the ResMed F10 for her, if you care). Anyho...

Re: Need help!
I'm just a newbie that had to be told that I probably had a 60 series unit, as it's new...I only know as much as I do because I was considering a heated hose as well, but I don't have one because nowhere to plug it in, and prob won't "need" one til winter. If the system is new to you, you can probab...

Re: Need help!
I think I 'get' it...you have the basic humidifier setup, not the one for the heated hose. But you bought a heated hose, now have nowhere to plug the heating element in on the humidifier, as the little plug in tube on the humidifier is only for basic plain jane hoses.

Re: truck driving
Can't get one by palerider.
DOT is like anyone else...ALL hours count. Don't bother with a second machine, IMO. Unless the main unit is on the blink. Then run it over with your truck, and blame someone else.

THANK YOU, PUGSY!
This simple breakdown of: "Postby Pugsy on Mon Jun 23, 2014 8:03 am If the AHI is composed of primarily Clear airway events then we just sort of sit back and watch them. If the AHI is composed of primarily Hyponeas and OAs then normally a little pressure adjustment upwards is all that is needed." Go...

Re: truck driving
I'm OTR, as well. My CURRENT (as opposed to my near future) program is to dump the humidifier water, disconnect the nasal pillow and shorty connector hose, wash them and lay them on a clean towel in the bunk. I also disconnect the main hose from the machine, and leave the humidifier tank on the towe...

bruised and battered nostrils from the nasal pillows? Wouldn't that indicate the mask is far too tight?

Re: FINALLY got the Rx...
Thanks, Jen. I'm amazed that I managed to pull something else positive out of this. Good thing, though...I'm fighting for every bit of info and every option I can find, just so I don't have to deal with a lousy DME. Which is probably why they have been so close mouthed with me. But, like every other...
