Thanks, Nick Danger. I'm really hoping things stay this way. I'm also sleeping more than 4 hours at a shot too, omg. What next?Congrats, LookingEast! It sounds like you turned the corner in getting used to CPAP very quickly! Nice work.

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
You can zoom in on the time frame and count the minutes where the LL is flagged and come up with an approx number of minutes total but it isn't a huge amount of time. Maybe 8 or 9 minutes total would be my guess. Out of 8 hours of sleep on the machine...not enough to worry about. I see it, I see it...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
If you don't have any large leaks then they may not show up on the graphs but if they do it is on the very top of the events graph...top right and called LL. Ok, I do have that, on some of my graphs, posted above. My latest on, June 21, has Large Leaks: .89 under the hours column. Does that mean I ...

And yes, periodically newcomers also raise the issue of "Why aren't there any moderators?" as well. Not this newbie. I was just commenting on the post about the Rx and legalities, etc. vs the posts asking if they can sell their stuff here with answer being, "yes." Conflict resolution thoughts going...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
Hi, Just wanted to report that my AHI continues to be under 3.0 for the past 5 days. I'm pretty thrilled. I'm loving the AirFit P10 mask. The fit and comfort and quietness are amazing. Also, I talked to my doctor's office (finally) yesterday and his nurse told me this about my numbers, the "uglies",...

Re: why don't we have a separate buy sell sub?
CPAP machines and accessories are Class II medical devices which are available, new or used, only by prescription, as mandated by the FDA. ..you're not going to see anyone selling new or used machines without a prescription for very long before the FDA shuts them down, citing the possibility of fin...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
Encore is showing total leak (vent rate plus excess leak) So the "leak rate" on Sleepyhead is vent and the "total leak" is vent plus excess? I have a friend who uses PC and I"ll find out what version of Windows she has and let you know, thanks. Last night was my best AHI ever at 2.95 with 6.46 hours...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
Thanks for posting these. How did you get the BIPap report? Do I need windows for that or can a dr send me that? I can get access to a PC... I'd like to see my BiPap report if possible, and hope my doctor is going to look at it very soon as well. You wrote: Also note that while the leak line got up ...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
Keep us posted. We do care. I will, thanks. I'm very interested in what the doctor's office has to say. My "average" AHI is about 8 from all the day's usage so that in itself doesn't look ominous at all. When I told the Resp Therapist from the DME I could see my OAs, Hs, etc. she wanted to know...H...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
So let me just say that right now. Your doctor needs to get on the ball and evaluate your data. He's the one that should be helping you sort all this out but sounds like your doc has dropped the ball. Yes, understood. I talked with his nurse today and she said they didn't receive the fax from my Re...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
not to be alarmist, but the last time I saw a breathing pattern like that, it was the result of congestive heart failure... in a 39 year old.... he's currently doing much better after a lot of time at a cardiologist and time in a heart failure clinic... as well as supplemental oxygen at night. I ju...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
Is this the correct zoomed-in spot? My machine info shows 0% leaks in the "info" window. Is there another place I can check? I don't know if I have Encore software - how do I find that out? I'm on a Mac using OS10.6.8. (not to confuse things but I only used the machine about an hour last night. It k...

Re: Help with Latest Sleep Numbers, Could it be Leaks?
Attached is a screen shot of what I think you asked for, let me know if you need something else.
I see a rise in the Leak graph same time as everything got "ugly" which is why I was wondering if that was a factor/cause/anything...?

Thanks,
Sue
