Gosh, I paid $595 and the price of the series 60 with optional humidifier and tubing they are sending me - all as an upgrade bc of backorder on the other - is $868 - wow!

I just purchased it and it was on backorder so when I called they said they upgraded me (no charge) to the newer model - and My Dr is faxing them the prescription

as for why - I could not get used to masks on my face and that kept me awake. after 2 hrs of not falling asleep, I took mask off, turned off machine and then shortly fell asleep but w apneas.

insurance forget it, I will pay for it and replacement masks. I don't need compliance data; only need to get results in how I feel.
I would expect to ramp from 4 to 8 with C-flex to make expiration easier

Hi Fellow apnea sufferers, I was here a shirt time ago ... and was unable to fall asleep using CPAP machine despite trying 4 masks ... pissed some people off who misthought I was not a trooper about it - I just could not FALL ASLEEP w it on my face unfortunately BUT, having failed the 90 day insuran...

thaNKS, Not leaks tonight - just can't fall asleep with CPAP yet .... Once so far - 3 nights ago FINALLY after 7 weeks - but next 2 nights NO.
Beside, the last 2 nights had me grinding my teeth also. sucks

sadly,same old, air blow, mask press, 2 hrs pass - maybe I have dozed a few minutes at a time, mainly awake - 2 hrs - take off mask and be frustrated about CPAP.
will go back to bed soon and sleep w/o it again

my FFM is a "Sunset" and the cushions are CUCM005M (mediium)
I did a search on mask liners and couldn't find ones that mentioned compatibility with this mask???????? what now?

Mask liners????????
I tightened it last night and couldn't sleep - 2 hrs later gave up ... oddly had a few leaks off n on too
any advice on having ffm loose on bridge of nose and not too tight on chin but avoiding leaks???

Thank you ALL for encouragement. I slept last night 6 hrs with FFM. 3 hrs the night before when I mistakenly took it off by misreading the clock by 3 hrs. FINALLY!!! I discovered I had leaks early this morning and will have to adjust it tighter I guess and hope that extra pressure doesn't derail me....

Boy, the DR was No Help Whatsover!!! He poo poo'd the hybrid mask, kept talking about fittings and leaks - which I don't have and told him so. HE likes the nose pillows and mentioned a) a chin strap; b) a sleep med to ask my family dr about; c) ffm - which I mentioned the CPAP people wanted to give ...
