Re: Will this solar charger work with my machine?
It's car camping, so I'm good with the deep cycle battery. What gear (converters, etc.) will I need to actually plug my machine in?

Re: Will this solar charger work with my machine?
Without knowing my power specifics and taking an educated guess, is there a battery you would recommend at least looking at? Considering I'll only be camping ~2 nights per year?

Re: Will this solar charger work with my machine?
Thanks, CapnLoki. I can't provide power details at the moment because the machine is at home, but I think you've pretty much answered my question. I'd rather not run the generator all night, but batteries like the C-100 are a bit too pricey for camping 2 nights annually.

Will this solar charger work with my machine?
I'm using a Philips Respironics BiPAP autoSV Advanced System One and will be traveling soon to a powerless area. Can any of you electronics wonks out there tell me if the following Goal Zero solar charger will work with my machine?

Re: Adjustment issues
I had been hoping for the "amazing differences" I have read about and they just aren't there....yet. Yeah, that's my #1 beef with my provider. All kinds of promises of amazing differences, boundless energy, feeling younger, losing weight, blah blah. I'm pretty convinced those don't happen. Obviousl...

Re: Adjustment issues
I'm going on a month now with the same exact issues. I've also got that Wisp nasal mask, and it's hands-down the best out of several that I tried during my 3 night titration test from Hades. My SD card data shows I've got a 100% seal most nights. But that's because I've been sleeping only on my back...

Re: Humidifier not using water
Unless you wake up with dry nasal passages, why do you care? What Sharrykb said. I was told by the tech that set me up that, with our specific climate, I will probably deplete the reservoir nearly every night. Also, during my 3-night titration test from hell, the humidifier actually ran out of wate...

Re: Humidifier not using water
I've noticed this somewhat too and wondered. I live in a Utah desert, so definitely no humidity in our air, yet my Philips Respironics BiPAP AutoSV Advanced System hardly uses any water. I fill it about every 4 days. Brand new machine and my heat is set to 4. What gives?

I posted here about a week ago looking for encouragement and guidance. That post is here: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t97860/Just-diagnosed-and-on-ASV--PLEASE-tell-me-things-get-better.html I received numerous responses full of information and encouragement, which made me feel better almost im...

Re: didn't sleep during titration
I was diagnosed last month. Took 3 titration studies to diagnose me (can't wait for the bill for those). First night was horrible. Probes up the nose kept itching, then the CPAP made me feel like I was scuba diving. I slept maybe 2 hours tops. 2nd night was better but that's not saying much. I slept...

Re: Just diagnosed and on ASV - PLEASE tell me things get better
The headache...does it go away in about an hour or take longer? How does your neck feel? The headache will not go away if I don't take Exedrin, which usually knocks it out for the day. If no Excedrin, headache will stay with me and progressively get worse all day. This is the same headache I've had...

Re: Just diagnosed and on ASV - PLEASE tell me things get better
If you are allowed to download SleepyHead software and install it on a computer at work, the software will tell you exactly which machine you have and what your settings are as well as how effective your therapy has been. So you install that and import the data from your SD card? When I got my mach...

Re: Just diagnosed and on ASV - PLEASE tell me things get better
By "what issues now" I guess I should clarify...what issues related to how come you can't sleep with the mask/machine. What is making you think "bondage" I think the feeling of bondage is both physical and mental. Underlying it all is the change of the nature of sleep from organic to technical. Wha...

Re: Just diagnosed and on ASV - PLEASE tell me things get better
Do you take any meds of any kind even OTC? If so, what? Dose? When? Lisinopril, 20mg; Excedrin every morning because I wake up with a pounding headache. What specifically are your issues now? I didn't actually have any sleep complaints. I went to my doctor about what feels like asthma: out of breath...
