Fists Clenching
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experienced fists clenching during their sleep? And if so, how did you resolve it? For the past few months, I've been experiencing tired hands (sweaty at times) when I wake up, and I've also noticed that I've been getting a lot of wrinkled lines on my palms (presuma...

FFM recommendations
Hi, I am planning on obtaining a FFM since I've been suffering from mouth breathing and dry mouth when I use my nasal masks. Any recommendations from my fellow FFM users? Preferably lightweight, minimalist, no forehead tabs(I have an incredibly sensitive forehead that gets red and rashy easily), and...

Re: Edema / Facial Swelling
Hey Puffy Eyes, I have found the solution, although some people on this board may beg to differ. That is to get off the CPAP, I have stopped using my machine because my eyes were getting so swollen and painful that I couldn't even go to work. I have stopped using my CPAP machine for about 1-2 months...

Edema / Facial Swelling
Hi, After posting a topic earlier about my situation, I've switched to straight CPAP at a pressure of 6. Now I'm not entirely sure when this begin to happen--I suppose it's more noticeable now, but my eyelids (top and bottom) have been feeling/looking swollen as of late. On top of that, I've also be...

Re: Why are there so many Young People with Sleep Apnea?
Well, I'm 26 and let's just say this topic makes me feel a little better already. The answer to the question that you propose can be incredibly complex, OP. From my own experience browsing these forums, there does appear to be quite a few younger individuals like myself, but by and large, I would st...

Re: Is there Hope?
I am in very much the same situation as you, in terms of our diagnosis(mild apnea), our age, and the fact that we still feel like crap while on CPAP. As a matter of fact, I've been CPAP'ing since last March now, and there's still many days that I feel extremely tired and sleepy. Many a day(including...

Re: Please interpret my Sleepyhead data
I've definitely experienced that outflow phenomenon. If only a nightcap were all we needed for a good night's rest.
BTW, what would be considered an unacceptable level of leakage?

Re: Please interpret my Sleepyhead data
Thanks for all your input. To answer a couple of questions: 1) I don't typically use a humidifier, although I do fill it for passover purposes. On the rare nights, I do use it, I normally have it at 1 to minimize rainout. 2) My headgear isn't overly tight or loose. I'm somewhere in the medium where ...

Please interpret my Sleepyhead data
Hi Everyone, A little about myself: I am 26 years old and male. For many years since grade school, I never gotten enough sleep due to my habit of staying up late, and doing anything, but sleeping. I suppose I was/am bit of a night owl as I enjoyed staying up late. As a result, I took being tired as ...
