Re: Feeling like I cannot breathe with nasal pillow

Is your starting pressure set on 4 like mine was before I learned that I need 7 to get "enough air"?

Re: 3 and 4 Year Old Posts???

It would be kind of funny if somebody bumps this thread every 3-4 years.

Re: Change in Amount of Sleep Needed

I'm around a month in and also am moving towards 7 hrs per night.

When I wake up I immediately reach for the button to check my nightly stats and it's pretty much always 7.x even on my days off.

Unfortunately my average ahi moved from 0.x to 1.x but that's another story.

Re: Nasal Congestion and Remedies - Add Yours

I thought more humidity was better for nasal congestion.

Re: Nasal Congestion and Remedies - Add Yours

Nice! I just ordered the aroma therapy diffuser.

I've been using Afrin for 3 weeks. It's still working but as mentioned above the non medicine options are pretty weak..

Looking forward to trying this.

Re: Struggling getting used to CPAP. Help!

I had my 2 week follow up today and talking with the guy he had me adjust my min pressure from 4 to 6. Very noticeable difference with much more air to start with. I was having to exhale through my mouth the first few min of mask time in order to fill the hose with fresh air rather than exhale into ...

Re: Could I really be this lucky?

As I read the above I think I also got lucky that the extent of my condition isn't as complex as some here. The S9 is the right tool for the job as it were and (fingers crossed) I won't need more complex treatment. I'm interested to see what my follow up data reveals. I'm not very tech savvy to unde...

Re: Machine or man?

I can't add much being a newbie except that my S9 is almost silent. I'm not sure if you are hearing machine noise or just worried about ambient noises waking you up but maybe a "sound machine" instead of earplugs would be worth a shot. I've been sleeping with a sound machine set to white noise for y...

Could I really be this lucky?

I've had my machine for 3 weeks (Resmed S9 and Swift mask). I had some initial pain on the tip of my nose but aside from getting used to the headgear on my pillow and having to move the hose with me when I roll over it's pretty uneventful. I was really worried about mouth breathing but the tech guy ...
