I recently purchased the Z1. The battery life is much less than advertised: it claims 8 hrs at 15 cm. I'm lucky to get 6 hrs at that setting ( big difference between 6 and 8 hrs of sleep!). It's also pretty noisy. My complaints to cpapsupplyusa.com, from whom I purchased the unit, resulted in snotty...

I have been using the Z1 for a few weeks with 2 Resmed masks (one a full face and one a nasal). They seem to work OK but are much noisier than my Resmed Elite. I agree with waudio1 that the Z1 is very noisy. More disappointing, however, is my experience with the power shell battery. The web site at cpapsupplyusa.com says that the battery provides "up to 8 hours of power cord free use" at 14 cm pressure. My battery on my unit runs out between 5 1/2 and 6 ho...
