Re: Problem with AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow
I've tried using the nasal pillows a couple of times, but I get so frustrated because it seems so hard to exhale. Inhaling is fine, it's the exhale that troubles me.

Re: ResMed P10 Nasal Pillows
Thanks, this helps. I will move it up to 5 or 6 tonight and see how that works and maybe try the next size nasal pillow.
So with the a-flex, will it be 'easier' to exhale on 3 rather than on 1? I couldn't notice much difference and I'm now seeing that is probably because I'm on 4cm.

Re: ResMed P10 Nasal Pillows
Thanks Pugsy. I was using the ff mask and was having leaking issues. i might try it again. my pressure is 4, which i believe is the lowest it goes. I think I got up to 8 last night. I have the A-Flex and the C-Flex - which I am totally confused about. They can be set from 1 to 3 and I have it on 3 w...

ResMed P10 Nasal Pillows
I got the nasal pillows on Friday - slept great that night. Since then, no such luck. I feel almost claustrophobic using this massive chin strap, so I tried not using it after the first night and I just kept waking up to air rushing out of my mouth. I also feel a strange sensation when i try exhalin...

Ahhhhh
I slept a whole 7 hours with my new ResMed AirFit P10 pillows last night. So happy. But today my nostrils are so sore and a bit red and swollen. Normal? Will it get better?

Chin straps
I was given the ResMed AirFit P10 pillows today. I'm really excited to try it. I do sleep with my mouth open, which I'm really going to try to stop, but I also want to try a chin strap. Can any tone recommend one that isnt too cumbersome. I would also like to try one that opens around the chin. Than...

Re: Not liking this! Considering oral appliance.
I had an oral appliance before i started the cpap. i loved it the first week or so and then i had considerable jaw pain and my teeth shifted. i have pretty bad TMJ, so that was the issue for me. Just an FYI for you. Give the mask some time. I've had it for about 3 weeks now. I wake up around 3am eve...

Re: Newbie with basic questions
Hi Sammy, I snore LOUD too and I'm a girl I didn't think I had sleep apnea, but my dentist encouraged me to get a sleep study. I have mild sleep apnea. I did another sleep over study and the results show that the cpap does help me. I'm new to this too and still trying to get used to sleeping with al...

Re: Air Leaks
You guys are awesome! Thanks for all of this information. I'm really going to have to sit down and read through it all again to educate myself. I feel pretty good today. I feel ok in the mask other than the fact that i am waking up at 3am every night with an air leak and i can't get it to seal again...

Is there a place that tells you what the abbreviations stand for? Being new to this, I'm having a hard time. I have no idea what "FWIW" or "YMMV" mean

Re: Grinding Teeth More now
I've had TMJ for a long time. I've been wearing a bite guard at night for years. Because of this snoring, my dentist suggested the night guard to hold my jaw forward at night - helped with the snoring and I slept great, however, it completely messed up my bite and my jaw could not handle it. So, now...
