Re: Selling (one-time) used CPAP masks at reduced prices
Ok, I hear what you are all saying. I didn't realize that you could find them so much cheaper in the US. I looked on Ebay but there seems to be some dispute of whether it's legal because of prescription troubles or something. It's not very clear. I didn't think about selling them as one lot because ...

Re: Selling (one-time) used CPAP masks at reduced prices
Looking at a used mask it is virtually impossible to tell if it's used one night or one month... there are basically no visual clues. Shipping to the USA would add another layer of cost. Well, all I can say is that I'm not a scumbag. I've only used each one for one night (and 2 of the mirage fx hav...

Re: Selling (one-time) used CPAP masks at reduced prices
Single bump. If anyone is interested, let me know. If not, I will get rid of the masks. Thank you.

This thread could be closed. I have posted a thread on the forum with the masks and a brief explanation of why I am selling them. It may be found here:

Selling (one-time) used CPAP masks at reduced prices
Hello everyone. To be brief, I live in France and I acquired 11 cpap masks while trying to find the proper fit. All masks have been worn only one night. I have included the brand, the model, the size, and a link to the sale page on the companion website with the price. I have calculated all costs to...

Re: Possible to sell (one-time) used masks? How?
If you got the masks for free, give them away for free. It's good for your karma. Uhhh ... maybe it wasn't clear if you didn't read the thread so far. There's no one here to give them too, as they would have them free as well from the company. And it costs money to ship things. And, I need some mon...

Re: Possible to sell (one-time) used masks? How?
I'm not "new" but I also was not "active". I first joined when I started with the machine here in France and I was looking to find out how to pick the right mask. I read a lot on this site that helped me come to terms with my apnea. Hopefully others will see that I didn't just create this account to...

Re: Possible to sell (one-time) used masks? How?
There is a type of "Craig's List" here, but there'd be no market for the masks, as anyone who needs one would get one for free.
I will try to post a list on here later. If it's allowed and it might work, I'll go through and catalog the masks. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Possible to sell (one-time) used masks? How?
Thank you for your concern. As it is, I no longer have the machine. The company took it back. If I did need to use the machine again, it would be easy enough to set up and I know which mask works for me (the mirage fx nasal mask). Really, I just have a drawer FULL of masks that did NOT work for me. ...

Possible to sell (one-time) used masks? How?
TL;DR - I no longer need my cpap machine and I have many masks, most used only one night, that I would like to sell. Hello everyone. First, let me say that I really feel everyone's pain in dealing with sleep apnea. I dealt with apnea for over 10 years and had been using a cpap machine for the past ...

Re: New User: Bearded Mouth Breather
I'm not so sure I can train my brain to keep my mouth closed when I sleep. As I fall asleep, I clench my jaw pretty tightly. The second I drift off, it opens, usually waking me up because I start mouth breathing. Also, I wear a small night guard to prevent against teeth grinding, as apparently I do ...

Re: New User: Bearded Mouth Breather
How does the TAP PAP keep your mouth closed? I understand that the mouthguard keeps the nasal pillows in place, but when I sleep, my mouth drops open. For the Swift FX -- one problem I have is that I have a shaved head that's always smooth. So anything with just a strap going over the crown does not...

New User: Bearded Mouth Breather
Hello everyone! I am an ex-pat American enjoying the French life and socialist health care system. This means I can finally afford to treat my sleep apnea. As such, I have been using my CPAP machine for about 6 months now and I have tried about 12 masks. However, I cannot find a mask that works with...
