When to change my CPAP
Hi
I am using S9 autoset since 2014. Oflate my display always shows usage time as 24 hrs with high AHI number around 14. I generally use only for 7hrs every night. Let me know how to resolve this issue. Also at what intervals should I change my cpap or mask.

Re: should i get a cpap or apap? feeling exhausted all the time
Buy a APAP machine. You can use it in a CPAP mode if required. APAP machine will vary pressure according the extend of air way blockage. Some people can sleep throught this change in pressures while others like to have it in CPAP mode which is a fixed pressure. Buy a machine which enables you to cha...

Re: Still feeling tired with CPAP. Please help.
I have been using a straight CPAP pressure of 10 and EPR of 2. My sleep seems to be better with the straight CPAP. I am also trying to sleep on my side as this reduces my therapy pressure requirement. My average leak is around 0.86 and 95% pressure at 1.20. How should I interpret this data. My graph...

Re: Still feeling tired with CPAP. Please help.
Hi Julie, You had mentioned that my charts all over the place. Can you please mention specifically. I guess Leak lines are the indicators of the mouth breathing but I guess it is not that bad to suggest I should go for a full face mask. Is there anything else in the report that that I need to fix. R...

Still feeling tired with CPAP. Please help.
Hi, I used to have loud snoring and did not take it seriously. But over some months I started feeling very tired. I then read in internet about sleep apnea. I immediately did a sleep study in 2009. I was diagonised with OSA with my AHI as 42. My doctor told me that my Airway was collapsing due to to...

Pressure setting during REM sleep
Hi,
I read in one of the thread that during our REM stage we need a higher pressure. My pressure median is 12 as per the sleepy head and I am using the pressure range of 9 -13. Should I tweak my pressure settings.

Re: Significance of AHI number
Hi Pugsy. I sleep on my back at the beginning. Also I felt little better than the previous night although not like what I was for the first week. I dont remember waking up more often in the night. May be 2 times last night. But still its much better than without the machine.

Re: Significance of AHI number
Thanks Pugsy. I will wait for some more days and see if the variation is coming down. When I get up I feel refreshed but through the course of the day I feel more tired. For the first one week it was really good. I had so much energy.its just that its not the same nowadays. I will continue this trea...

They recommended Cpap but I did no take it seriously. This year I decided to take control of things and bought s9 autoset. Don't...
