Re: Anyone use an F&P Icon+
Thanks for all the replies. I can see why he likes the Icon. Data is not important to him. It is to me and I look at the data constantly, I like the resmed for that. The easier to travel with is a good point.

Re: Anyone use an F&P Icon+
We're in Ontario Canada. There's really strict guidelines to being prescribed autopap here. Our equipment is government funded for 75% of the cost. I myself met the criteria, my husband did not. I bought the resmed s9 autoset, and I think he should get the resmed elite personally but he likes how th...

Re: hair being chewed by headgear
O.k, this part drove me crazy about using the masks! I pineapple my hair on top of my head. Basically as high as a ponytail as you can get. If you have a scrunchie or a loose hair tie that works best because then it won't leave any dents. I then put on a sleeping cap. You can buy these in Walmart in...

Anyone use an F&P Icon+
I recently got a Resmed Autoset for myself. My husbad was given and Fisher and Paykel icon for the trial and he likes the design of the machine better than the resmed. I don't know much about the Icon and I was wondering if any users here have it and can give any advice? He's prescribed Cpap so he c...

Re: ADP changes to CPAP in Ontario
I bet he was willing to help with the insurance claim. It is the only reason the DME infrastructure exists. In the end we still pay because employment benefits are rolled-up into employment total compensation for taxation and headcount budgeting. There's no such thing as a free lunch. Completely ag...

Re: ADP changes to CPAP in Ontario
ADP was so helpful! The agent told me that the machine should have a mask within the box. (this is the first I've heard of this??) It will more than likely be hard plastic mask. He told me it probably makes more sense to take the basic mask and shop around for a better mask, because he said he's he...

Re: ADP changes to CPAP in Ontario
Alright, so here's how it all went down with my DME.. I'm assuming I can list prices here. These are posted in the DME office for anyone to see if you walk in so it's not private knowledge. However if not someone let me know and I'll remove. I have to say the salesperson was nice and I actually like...

Re: ADP changes to CPAP in Ontario
I will definately update after tommorow to let you all know how it went. If they want to sell the upgraded mask I'm going to use the excuse I need to check with my coverage and get them to quote me prices so I can do a good comparison.

Re: ADP changes to CPAP in Ontario
LOL, I registered but didn't sign in. I slept well last night so I can't even use that as an excuse.
