You might want to consider using fixed pressure with the full-face mask to see if that doesn't solve the problem. Thanks. I tried fixed pressure for a couple of weeks before buying my auto machine. There's some information on Wikipedia, under "Hypnagogia", which you may have seen already. Something I didn't know: apparently it can be a sign of sleep disorders.
