Re: will my sleep Dr be mad?
Times have changed in the last 46 years. That is not only true for doctors. The Woodstock generation has caused a lot of disrespect for ... businessmen, teachers, politicians, ministers, people of other political persuasions, people with strong family values ... you add to the list. And well deserv...

And people may choose to delete their own notes for whatever reason they see fit. fwiw - I did not delete my posts. Maybe your computer had been infected with the "Disappearing Text Trojan", it's been known to infect non-logged in computers, due to their covert appearance on the web. Hey there Mr. ...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
I really like the Airfit P10... the only thing and it's turning out to be a big problem, is that no matter what I've tried I can't seem to get the straps to loosen up. The top strap is extremely tight and the bottom strap digs into my neck. This is after over a month of use. Other than the suggesti...

Yes, on the chin strap. However, many people have trained themselves to keep their tongue at the roof of their mouth - near the front teeth. Takes practice.

For the majority of people, that would be over kill. Didn't rinse and never had a problem.musculus wrote:Did you rinse or soak the pillow in hot water before first use? It happened to me too with Resmed Swift FX. You should rinse those chemicals (come from manufacturing) off.

Re: Take a sleeping pill or not on test night?
Any doctor who sends you to a $leep te$t without a sleeping pill should be horsewhipped. However, he should leave instructions to only take the pill in case you have trouble falling asleep. A $leep te$t with "suspect" data due to a sleeping pill is much better than a $leep te$t with no data due to ...

Re: Apria... this can't lead to anything good. See photo.
Maybe I am missing something, but you only buy supplies. I've been with Apria for over a year and haven't really had any previous problems with them, mostly I think because I have Medicare and excellent supplemental insurance thru HealthNet. Why they now want my credit card number and why I got the...

Re: gabapentin increases deep sleep?
SWA17 has many health problems, apnea being only one--I can only sympathize. Sadly, we are not equipped to do an intervention or drive him/her to detox, which would, IMO, do a world of good. You don't know if "detox" is the problem at all. That determination should not be made by anyone except a qu...

Re: Sleep Apnea, Effexor and Weight Gain
All ADs cause weight gain for most people - with the exception of Wellbutrin. I took Paxil and gained weight. Then I took Prozac to help with withdrawal from Paxil. I lost the weight from Paxil rather quickly. No weight gain from CPAP. People have said they do gain weight but that's ridiculous - it'...
