Re: OSA and Weight Loss Surgery
Read the book. It is not about weight loss, it is about your bodies reaction to the kind of food and the insulin it produces. Is this another one of those books where the author goes nuts about "processed foods and added sugars"? My doctor told me to eat what I like, just eat one-half of what I had...

He's not going to buy an Intellipap. That idea was just thrown out there by someone who doesn't have a clue.LAGrandpa wrote:The Intellipap is compatible with Sleepyhead if you have the optional smartlink module. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/devilbi ... odule.html

WT???? I thought the most important thing out of this thread is he now realizes how important data is???SewTired wrote:If data is not important to you
Sometimes you should just refrain from replying if you don't want to read the thread to see what is going on.

Re: Women with sleep apnea please reply
you can't automatically say that all cases of depression and anxiety are really sleep apnea. No one on here has said that. If you are a good reader, you see words such as probably, likely, may be, could be. I just got a little bit upset when SleepyEyes21 tried to discourage the young girl who start...

Re: Women with sleep apnea please reply
I know I am off topic but people like that counselor that you encountered greatly anger me. Essentially, when I was put on psych meds and wasted 15 years of life before I got off of them, I was given the message that my condition was forever. What a bunch of BS. I am glad you were finally diagnosed...

You want to take her hope away? I can tell you for sure, my diagnosis of depression was completely wrong. It was sleep apnea al...

Yes, my Intellipap works with Sleepyhead, and I never bought the data module. I just take out the SD card and put it in my laptop SD card slot.

Re: Can CPAP work better than APAP?
Can CPAP work better than APAP? This reminds me of unethical pollsters who word the poll questions to get the answers they desire. Haven't had much success with auto pap, having used it for over 2000 hours. I still wake up after 2-4 hours almost every night. I'm wondering if changing my machine to ...

Re: almost killed myself with full face mask
always do this: 1. turn on machine, 2. put mask on. 3. take mask off 4. turn off machine This would not work for me. With my high pressure setting, it would be difficult to properly put on the mask due to the windstorm. I forgot how long I lying in bed and all in a sudden I felt dizzy, I immediatel...

Re: A Good Data Capable Machine?
I would like something that can also read RERAs because I have problems with that. I had around 253 spontaneous arousals last sleep study. I don't know about this. RERAs and spontaneous arousals are two different things in the glossary I have. The machine can't sense a RERA because you are not wear...

http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n537/Gabe1101/Capture-1.jpg #1..Is this the number of times that RERAs occurred during the whole night? I noticed that my RERAs are lower when my AHI is high. #2Can anyone tell me what the numbers in total leak mean? Is this leakage per centage? Is this a normal ...
