Re: no detailed daily info in OSCAR
Thanks! Would you consider this a bug to report, or more just user error?ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 9:30 amBTW, there is a sticky at the top of the index page to report OSCAR bugs and suggestions.

Re: no detailed daily info in OSCAR
Ehhhhh, I think I just figured it out: I inserted the SD card into my machine after I had already turned it on last night. To be totally accurate, I inserted it, realized it was still locked, took it out to unlock it, machine turned itself on once removed, then I reinserted it without first turning ...

no detailed daily info in OSCAR
I just plugged my SD card into my computer and it is not showing me detailed info for last night. I purged yesterday and reloaded but it still isn't bringing up my detailed charts. Any ideas?

Re: badly need help
This happened to me once and all I needed was a new power supply, which my DME gave me for free when I called them. Maybe worth checking out? pleas note the op hasn't been back in since jan 11 1:46 pm. we can only assume he got the help he needed. I hope so! And anyone else following along might ha...

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
Frustrating! How will you know if the melatonin worked to counteract the Adderall if you stopped taking that? I didn’t do it on purpose, I simply don’t take it on weekends with any regularity. But after I realized what I had done, I thought it would also be a good experiment to see if improving sle...

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
For a really good answer, you'd need a lot of polysomnographic data. Based just on this, to my eye it looks like you simply sighed. Arousal breathing is usually multiple breaths with a jagged, ragged appearance. I have the suspicion that some of my sighs actually occur as I make a transition from o...

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
Question: would this be considered an arousal? Sorry if it seems obvious, still trying to figure out what's what.

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I have been using 3mg of melatonin for the last few nights and have seen definite improvement in my sleep quality. It is still far from ideal, but it seems to be progressively improving, which is very encouraging. I have also not taken the adderall since Friday,...

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
I’ve used melatonin before without any side effects that I’m aware of, so will try again. I also have a dust mite allergy that I don’t really treat, so I’ve been taking Zyrtec and Flonase at bedtime for the past week or so. I’ve noticed a difference in my allergy symptoms, but no difference in sleep...

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
You bring up some points that I hadn’t considered. Since I don’t notice the arousals as they’re happening, and my AHI is low, I really have been operating under the assumption that I sleep soundly through the night. I only recently started using OSCAR to review my data because my dentist wanted me t...

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
I do take Adderall XR, but am not super compliant with it, if I'm being honest. Very little or no alcohol consumption. I, honestly, have horrendous sleep hygiene. I feel like crap a lot, but I have an inconsistent bedtime, including staying up later than I should many nights, even though I'm dead ti...

Re: Fewer arousals without CPAP
I just saw your new graphs as I hit the submit button. Man, it takes you a long time to fall asleep and stay asleep.  Probably equates to it takes you a long time to fall back asleep when you wake up in the night (you may or may not remember it). Give me a minute...let me grab a shot of ...
