Re: mask setting
Thank you so much kaiasgram and Nick: that's exactly what I needed to know. So it was a complete coincidence that I had a good night!

mask setting
Currently I am alternating between a full face mask and nasal pillows. Last night I forgot to change the settings and slept with nasal pillows but with the machine on full face settings. I had a brilliant night! Can anyone work out from that what it might have meant, if anything, in terms of the mac...

Re: Disassemble Quattro FX
Thank you all so much for your help! The long and the short of it seems to be that even with the clearest instructions I just can't do it! I am thinking that there really probably isn't too much need to get the elbow out for cleaning ... and I will just leave it in and hope for the best! thanks y'al...

Re: Disassemble Quattro FX
Thank you both, Sclark08 and Julie. Youtube is amazing for all things mask related! My problem however is that I just can't do it! I'll try the fridge!

Disassemble Quattro FX
I am unable to get the elbow out of the frame for cleaning. I'm hesitant to just use brute force in case I break the plastic. Does anyone have any tips please?

Re: AHI & other factors
Pugsy, I am so sorry I missed your comment originally. I think I was reading on my phone and just missed it on the small screen. Thank you so much for your comments which were very helpful. (I also missed your birthday! Hope it was a happy one and I wish you a happy year!) I'm getting on well with t...

Re: AHI & other factors
Thank you Bill. The change was because there was still significant leakage with the nasal pillows. Although the ahi was good and I am transformed by cpap I am still pretty tired. The good news is that after my experimentation with the mask during the day, in terms of fit, position etc, the ahi last ...

AHI & other factors
I am still pretty new at CPAP. I have just swapped from nasal pillows to full face. And here's an odd thing: AHI has shot up from 2 (with nasal pillows) to 7, I haven't sorted out wearing the mask and have had very broken nights, ... but I feel a million times better! When I first started using CPAP...

Re: Miserable Newby
I have just changed to a Quattro FX mask. I've only had it for two nights and I found some of the difficulties which you are experiencing. However I do want to persevere with it. This morning after I got up I lay down on my bed again and, with the help of several tips gleaned from this forum, I expe...

Re: leakage
The leakage problems, and indeed the sleep quality problems, that I was experiencing seem to be well on the way to being controlled. I have done three things: the straps are looser; I am taping the arms of the mask to my cheeks so that the looser fitting doesn't permit it to slide all over the shop;...
