ok thanks! So if the tongue is falling back and obstructing does the "EPAP Min" or "EPAP Max" need to be adjusted?

ASV: What setting is responsible for helping obstructions
I have an Auto ASV machine and wanted to know what pressure setting is most responsible for stopping tongue obstructions in the mouth? Would it be the "PS" or the "EPAP" settings?
Is it the:
Max PS
Min PS
Max EPAP
Min EPAP
Is it the:
Max PS
Min PS
Max EPAP
Min EPAP

Re: stopped breathing for 30 seconds and pressure didn't change?
Thanks for the info. Is there an alarm I can set so that after not breathing for 10 seconds I hear a beep of some kind? 30 seconds seems to be a while to go without breathing...I'd rather get an alarm at 10 second mark than go 30 seconds.

stopped breathing for 30 seconds and pressure didn't change?
I viewed my sleep data via SleepHead software and noticed a few instances where I stopped breathing for about 30 seconds. I checked pressure during this time and it looked like nothing changed (maybe it went up 1). Shouldn't the pressure go up a lot more to get me to breath? Obviously something need...

How Can One figure Out Where Obstruction Is Comming From?
Is there some sort of test one can do to figure out what body part is causing the obstruction? I can go to the doctor to be put under and he can check but that seems a little extreme. Maybe there is a night vision camera attached to a night guard or something? Anyone have any tips?

Anyone Use an Oral Appliance + CPAP?
I''m curious if anyone uses an oral appliance + CPAP? If so would you recommend it?
I'm thinking an oral appliance would allow the pressure settings to operate at a lower level thereby making things more comfortable and less prone to leaks.

Does propping up your head reduce obstructive events?
I use 1 pillow at night with my ASV machine and wondering if using 2 or 3 pillows to prop myself up would reduce the obstructive events I have? (I can breath fine through my nose but its somewhere in my throat that has obstruction).
Anyone have experience on this?

Re: obstruction occurs while still awake?
I'm awake enough to notice the collapse so I do not have to be 100% a sleep to notice this. It happens when I'm on my back or my side. (I know not to sleep on my back). Yes I do have ramp setting for 15 minutes and when I notice the collapse happening I disengage the ramp and start at full pressure ...

Re: Disable Respironics PR one System alarm when starting up
I have the PR One 60 series (BiPap) but do not see "silent mode" in clinical setup.
Does that mean I'm stuck with the beep? :/

Automatic Oxygen machine dispenser
Anyone know if there is an oxygen machine which will dispense oxygen at night if your blood oxygen level falls below a certain point rather than a continuous flow? If so what is it called and where can one get one?

Re: Translating Respironics ASV to Resmed AirCurve 10 ASV?
Yes its in ASV mode. I tried Auto ASV mode before it kept blowing my cheeks up with air and couldn't fall asleep. I'm going to try auto ASV mode again but this time set it on a timed 20 minute ramp so it will kick on fully when I'm sleep.
