My DME has been in touch with the manufacturer and he teels me another week and a half. Why wait?... Well, in the short time that I've been reading on this forum, I've heard that some doctors think that the technology is "not quite there yet" with the autos. My sister's doc said the same thing. I th...

I'll have to agree with Sleepless in St Louis about Medical West. I use them too. They told me they would do everything they could to see that my sister had everything she needed. They're ordering her a new mask. The sleep lab recommended them. I hope it stays this way. BTW the doc said Apria was th...

Thanks Chuck, Yes it does help. At least I'll have those numbers to show the doc. Seems to me that over time it would make a difference in determining whether or not she needed another study done and whether or not bipap therapy could be considered. And I'll know the pressures won't go too high for ...

OK, thanks for the help.
Can the auto machine also detect *and* record central apneas?

New M Series Auto also auto change rate

Hi. I'm considering an apap for my sister. Does anyone have the new M series auto yet? If so, how does it seem to get the job done? Does it have a ramp feature in auto mode? Also can someone explain how fast is the rate of pressure change in an auto machine. For instance if she's using 4 cm on her s...

DME called me at work today. He says I should be able to get a look at one of these in about a week. I'll let you all know what it's like.

Ditto to all the above plus these: I like comparison charts where you can compare features at a glance. Not enough websites use these. Makes things very easy and I'm more likely to buy from a site that uses them. Make sure the specs are all listed for each product.m Sometimes they're omitted. Don't ...

Could someone please elaborate on this? I was thinking of the MOJO for my sister. The doc wants to try her on a FFM.

Disgusting

After having worked more than a few overnights in my time, I know you get sort of punchy when morning rolls around, but that is inexcusable. As far as what goes on in the labs is concerned, I wonder if the powers that be even care. At the lab I took my sister to, I found hairs from the previous pati...

Differences in sleep clinics? Doctors? St. Louis area

Hi I'm new to all this. My sister has apnea. She is disabled and I am her guardian. I would really like to hear from anyone who has experiences with one or more clinics and doctors in the St. Louis area. I'm not totally satisfied with my current one and wonder if it would do any good to get another ...
