Re: The elderly have thin skin
I've been using CPAP since 2009 with a ResMed Quattro Mirage mask. Have the same problem, ie, the bridge of the nose is all red in the morning and it's getting worse-taking longer to clear up. I'll try something between the mask and skin and see how that works. My only concern is leaks but we'll try...

Re: Res Med S9 exhale noise
this unit is a week old so I'll just send it back I think. Edit: just chatted with a ResMed tech in California (a different one this time). It appears the exhaust sound is inherit in the design of the S9. I'm thinking this is something we just have to get use to or switch to another model. In my cas...

Re: Res Med S9 exhale noise
my unit sits at bed level on a table next to me so I can switch it off easily. It makes the noise whether EPR is on or off. I think I will call the tech at ResMed and chat with him more about the issue since I've done some elimination testing of my own. Maybe it would be worth it to chat with ResMed...

Res Med S9 exhale noise
I've used an S8 for 5 years and recently switched to an S9. I like it but on exhale there is a distinct sound coming from the unit. If I remove the humidifier and climate tubing (using just the S9 unit with standard tubing) it's slightly worse. I've read some related posts about the issue on this fo...

Re: S9 SD card ?
ok Thanks, I'll just have to remember to put the card back in after. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the S9 record the last 7 days of detailed data on the card or is it continuous?

S9 SD card ?
Does anyone know if the SD card has to be in the S9 to record the detailed sleep data? It appears that way but with my old S8 it didn't have to. I didn't have it in last night and don't see the data in ResScan or SH. Thanks!

Re: ResScan Software Download
I've got ResScan 3.X software and the card/card reader (not an SD card) for the S8 AutoSet. Just got a S9, how do I get the SD card data into my computer? Thanks!
