Re: Cleaning P10 nasal mask, resmed
In any proportion? I did not just write to mix it, but gave the proportions too. Happy to be corrected if you happen to know what you're talking about. Live and learn. ;) In a sense the proportions are irrelevant. There essentially are only three outcomes after the reaction: Some baking soda left o...

Re: Cleaning P10 nasal mask, resmed
Mix baking soda and distilled white vinegar. https://www.thekitchn.com/what-happens-when-you-mix-baking-soda-with-vinegar-253035 That's really a waste of vinegar and baking soda. The best way to clean the P10 is with * dishwashing * (not hand/bath/body) soap, hot water, and a tooth brush. Though I'...

Re: Cleaning P10 nasal mask, resmed
I find that a toothbrush is next to useless to clean the mesh. I either use a denture cleaning tablet (followed by lots of rinsing) or BLAST it with a water pik! The latter is more fun. --and quicker/more effective. (PR, did you mean ME?) what's a water pik? I googled it and found shower heads as w...

Re: Cleaning P10 nasal mask, resmed
Mix baking soda and distilled white vinegar. I'm really not sure why people do this. The acid and the base neutralize each other, creating water, CO2 and sodium acetate. In any proportion? I did not just write to mix it, but gave the proportions too. Happy to be corrected if you happen to know what...

Cleaning P10 nasal mask, resmed
Not sure if this trick to declog the holes of the P10 mask is posted in the right place (!). Well here goes: I had trouble cleaning my P10 nasal mask. The noise-free mask works thanks to a super fine mesh. The problem is that it clogs and so I don't get enough oxygen in the end and breath part of wh...

Re: Cure for Sleep Apnea
To me, exercising the tongue and throat make sense. It stops making sense when you consider that all you're doing is strengthening muscles... which are * already * strong enough to keep your airway open... until they relax . Which they're going to do, no matter how 'strong' they are. Not sure about...

Is the study rubbish? I don't work in the medical area, so hard to judge.

Re:
hehehe... I play didgeridoo. Just started this past summer actually, but I have learned circular breathing and I can make it bark like a dingo and make kukaburra sounds and all kinds of neat stuff. I use the sound for meditation. HOWEVER... I still snore like a freight train. Maybe I just need to p...

Re: Cure for Sleep Apnea
Has anyone practiced the didgeridoo and noticed improvement in their apnea condition? I'm bordeline, so fall in the category that could benefit if this stuff makes sense, so would be interested to find out more. I looked up this video on circular breathing (explained in 10 min) which I plan to pract...

Max pressure?
Hi, my resmed fried unexpectedly. The cpap supplied kindly sent me a replacement with full warranty. It took a while to arrive (postal issue). But it's here. And now I'm setting it up and forgot my former max pressure. Min is around 7 which suited me fine. But I forgot max. What should I should I sh...

Re: Resmed malfunction
My resmed Airsense S10 Autoset with heated humidifier made a sharp noise and stopped functioning entirely. It was bought in Nov 201 5. I contacted the shop. I am wondering if this life span is normal or unusual? Most have a 2 year warranty. The "shop" where you bought it should cover it. I used one...
