Re: Nuance Pro Question
Yes I love the "no pillow present" feel as well, best one I've found for me. It's all in personal preference, what I love others hate, what others love I hate.

Re: vent about tech
Been to 23 of them in the last 4 years. I have utilized 3 places for my studies, everyone starting the time once you are hooked up, in bed, and baseline tests ran. Doesn't matters if you go directly to sleep or read, it all counts toward time to sleep onset. None started prior to that or after that,...

vent about tech
They can do anything they want
Once you are in bed the time starts, anything you do at a slept study is evaluated to see how long you take to goto sleep. If you weren't ready then you should of scheduled the appointment at your bedtime. It's called a sleep study not a reading study

Re: vent about tech
I'm no tech but I'd say yes it is delayed onset if you sat and read a magazine with Ambien taken. If I can get my legs swung into bed before I'm asleep I feel lucky with no meds. My wife takes Ambien and within 10-15 minutes she is out. Both of my studies I was fighting falling asleep just doing the...

Re: APAP Question
Of course, does apap help obstructive events and how fast.
I didn't come into stir things up just wanted to get an answer and probably should of started a new thread. I think different experiences are great, the more that can weigh in the better IMO.

APAP Question
It often takes awhile to become familiar with the personalities of people on forums. This one is no different. There are plenty of forums for people to pick and choose which ones fit their own criteria. Yes it does take time to get a feel, that was why I decided to ask if that was the norm I needed...

APAP Question
If this is all you see with all the posts I have made this week then I think that I feel sorry for you and no longer want to bitch slap you. You either haven't read much that I have said or your ubnoxus attitude in general has clouded your perception of life and people and that's really sad. Offeri...

APAP Question
Oh, come on (with your CHOSEN screen name?); when Sheriff says that *HE* said that not Pugsy, and I am pretty sure they are friends who may disagree at times. I have earned the name and use it proudly. I am very outspoken, very matter of fact, very blunt, and very to the point with no beating aroun...

Re: APAP Question
I have been reading about a week on here Go back and read about 4 years worth of threads and reports and studies about how and why APAPs do what they do. That's what I did in 2009 when I started cpap therapy...I read for hours and hours and hours for months... all sorts of old threads where the mec...

Re: APAP Question
What you say I haven't read or heard about except from you...I have always been told or read that the machines don't respond until the obstructive event is over with but assuming what you are saying is true....and why I haven't challenged it in the past...as it wasn't worth fighting over. You say y...
