Re: Lincare DME
I really like Lincare, they are my current provider. I had Apria before them, and I HATED them with a passion. Lincare has been extremely helpful when I have stopped in with no appointment, and they have even scavenged free supplies for my old, outdated, back up sleep machine I use for travel. They...

Re: Question about ordering TAP PAP from Apria
I think the best way to get help from Apria is to fire them and go to competitor if its an option for you. Apria was terrible to me. I don't get any bills, so I have no idea what they do on that end, I just know they are super unorganized and have terrible customer service. I found much nicer place...

Re: Gas in stomache
I have no idea what is happening with you, but I can tell you what happened to my mom. She had gastric bypass surgery, weightloss surgery. She didnt need her c-pap anymore, only she didn't know it. She had lots of gas and was full of air until she figured out to stop using her c-pap, as her apneas ...

Re: Eliminating Swift FX Nano Nose Leaks
I have no ideas how to eliminate the leaks, other than switch masks. I looked at this mask, and I thought it looked like it would leak for me. Most masks seem to leak right into my eyes and dry them out. Then I tried some nose pillow mask that came sideways, and it was better, but it still pulled o...

Re: If Anyone Needs Convincing Evidence!
I guess I am a lucky one. I do not remember any adjustment period, any struggles or trials with wearing my masks or using my machines. I went through several masks before I found the right one for me, but even the wrong ones were better than nothing. I got tested for sleep apnea due to being so very...

Re: Help us make diagnosis easier for you
I was diagnosed in a clinic. The only interesting response I have is to the discomfort. I was not used to sleeping on my back, but with all the stuff hooked up to me, I was unable to sleep in my usual position on the side, with pillows between my knees and feet for support, a pillow under my arm, a...

Re: Mask and machine advice please
If I was paying hundreds of dollars out of my own pocket, I would also look at non traditional avenues, such as Craigslist and Ebay, for used machines at a greatly reduced price. I am glad you made some phone calls. Sounds like the first place was a rip off artist. Before committing to the the DME ...

Re: Climateline tubing: Like it or Hate it?
Wow, lot's of really good info here, thank you all for the posts and advice!!! I never managed to make it to bed at all last night, so I didn't play around with my machine at all. I will be headed to bed shortly (finally!!) and I am gonna set the climate control up to 86 and see what happens. It's ...

Re: Climateline tubing: Like it or Hate it?
.I have to use 84 degrees with my ClimateLine and I still get an occasional small amount of condensation in my mask. So basically I want to turn it up, not down? and my machine only goes up to 80....do I need to call someone to ask to change the numbers I can access?? Thank you all for the helpful ...

Re: Climateline tubing: Like it or Hate it?
How cold?? well, it was 11 degrees below zero outside when I work up. I have no themometer in my room, so I have no idea how cold it was in my bedroom. I don't have control to set heat on any certain temp, so i cannot even give a starting point. What happens if you turn your climate control up, and ...
