On a totally different topic here, has anyone used a MAD device instead of cpap? The reason I am asking is that I am still having a terrible time getting used to a cpap. I would like any opiions on the mouthpieces from you all.
Thanks,
Pooh

Folks I work for the GOV and mu OSA has been listed as a disability under the ADA. The GOV is required to accommodate my OSA by not letting me drive distances greater than 50 miles (I do a LOT of driving). At one time my supervisor had the gall to walk into my office space and demand, "That I had be...

EEO Rules
Being a GOV employee I am protected by the fact that any and I do mean ANY medical disability (and apnea is a disability under ADA) is private. I was doing some research after I posted this and it seems that my Supervisor cannot under any circumstances discuss an employee's medical condition in fron...

Sleep Apnea and the ADA
All, I have an interesting question. Like most in here I have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. I informed my employer of this as we use GOV vehicles for work. I did not want to cause a danger by nodding off and having a crash. My employer has accommodated me by having someone else drive ...

As Snoredog stated, I got the replacement unit (the same typr and model) within 4 days (excluding the weekend) from billmyinsurance. I am really impressed with these folks! Plus, my unit is covered under warranty. Thanks for all the replys!

Man what problems!
I actually did not use a DME and just went through billmyinsurance.com. They took all the insurance information, my prescription and "I" got to choose what I wanted! I have to admit that the folks there are fantastic! The hell with DME's. From what I have read on here they seem like sharks looking f...

RemStar Troubles

It seems that the unit (Only 2 months old) has develped a problem with the internal clock as well as with the auto C-flex feature of the unit. The pressure reading never changed from 10. The auto-on featur...

Problems with my RemStar

This is in conjunction with another meter that shows how many nights of >+ 4 hours I have. My problem is this...the clock has stopped worki...

Hey beneyw? As I am still the "new kid on the block" I experienced the exact same thing you did. I went and had my sleep study done, BC/BS paid all of it! Made my day! A week later I get a call from a lady stating she is with the supply side of the sleep study center at the hospital I went to. She q...

Fisher&Paykel Oracle 452
Good Morning All,
Has anyone had experience with the Oracle 452? Right now I am using a ComfortFull 2 full face mask. This mask seems to leak on a constant basis everytime I roll onto my side. As well as the Oracle 452 I am also considering the FlexiFit 431. Any opinions anyone?
Thanks
