As has been posted above. The wires are for the heated tube. The dry box is retained by a catch on the rear of the humidifier. I use my fingertip to pull down on the catch while using my other hand to pull the dry box out.

Gary UT, by "seal" do you mean a flexible gasket? The only two in there are (1) on the tubing outtake going up and (2) on a connector leading to the side to the the air hole from the CPAP. The normal recommendation is loose enough for the seals to inflate, but not overly tight. You want it just tight enough to prevent leaks. I use the same mask. I use the Quattro air.

My first mask was a size large, this was a complete mask. I switched to a medium cushion on the original frame and it fits fine.

When I recieved a complete replacement mask I ordered a size medium, and the frames are identical.
