Should mention that I am looking at the nasal one, not full face!
Thanks!

Heater/humidity not working on my machine
Hi All. My darn humidity crapped out. I don't use the humidity function in the summer and now that it's getting colder, I've decided to put it back on. I didn't realize it wasn't working except that the water never evaporated. This morning I woke up with a cold nose! I felt the heat pad and it was c...

Re: OT: Mike & I have Pneumonia!
Just remember - you can't help anyone if you don't get better yourself. Rest is the best medicine for Pneumonia. Rely on your family. Give them instructions on the how-tos! You might even ask one of them to make a sign to hang on the wall for the rehab staff regarding his CPAP needs and the urgency ...

What to do when you have a cold
I knew eventually this would come up. Well here I am with a killer cold. My nose was so stuffed up last night that I woke up gasping a few times(I use a Wisp Nasal Mask).
Any suggestions for the future?
Thanks so much!!

Re: Swift FX over 10?
I'm gonna give it a try. What the heck. Once I fall asleep it's all good. So I use the ramp and reset it a few times if needed to reduce pressure. Once I am out, game on.

Re: Swift FX over 10?
I use a WISP now so it all goes up my nose anyway. Especially when the ramp is over and it's on 12. So I will give it a try. I'm hoping the Bella straps work. I love my WISP but I love my hair more!! Darn straps.

Swift FX over 10?
Hi all,
I am making decisions on my next mask. I am thinking of going with the Resmed Swift FX for her with the Bella straps.
I do hear that if you have a pressure over 10 (mine is 12) that the pressure up into your nose might be too strong. Any thoughts before I purchase it.
Thanks!!

Nasal Pillows with pressure at 12
Hello - I just called my supplier and am looking at getting a Resmed for her and it has nasal pillows. She mentioned that higher pressures can't handle the pillows. Any advice if 12 is too much pressure for a pillow?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Looking for a new mask. Any suggestions?
I love the nose piece on the wisp but the headgear is awful. It's really big and hard to adjust. I will be headed towards a Resmed for Her in another week. Just haven't decided which one.

Re: How much is weight related to apnea?
My new sleep Dr. looked in my throat the other day and said that I have a great airway. So, losing weight would probably eliminate the need for a machine. I'm hoping it's all I need to hear to get the weight off!

Re: Stinging Eyes
I had to go to the Opthamologist because my eye was in so much pain. He tested it for dryness and said it looked like it was sandblasted. All due to my leaky CPAP. My mask was getting old. He told me to use an eye lubricant at night until it felt better. I did and it cleared up in 2 days. The lubric...
