F&P Brevida versus Pilairo Q
Anyone seen or tried the F&P Brevida mask? It looks a lot like the Pilairo Q, so wondering if it is a replacement/improvement on it, or if I'm not seeing something that makes it different.

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
Klutzo,
You may want to try the Pilairo Q. It has all the same features that you like about the P10.
It sounds like the headgear may be too tight. It only needs to be tight enough to keep the pillows near your nostrils and no tighter.

Re: Climateline hose - how long should it last?
The water chamber was less than half full. I hadn't added water to it for a couple of days and I never fill it more than half way as I don't seem to go through very much water. The noise also only happened when I would move my head. So that's leading me to think of a hole or break near the connectio...

Re: Climateline hose - how long should it last?
It's not a water problem in this case as I had just put the mask on for the night. So everything was dry.

Re: Climateline hose - how long should it last?
I should look into that fleece cover. Most of the time, it's not an issue, but sometimes the hose does lay across or under my arm and I don't like the plastic. It may be a hole at the contact point, I'll have to take a look when I get home. I had recently had the mask hose coming unattached from the...

Climateline hose - how long should it last?
I ran into an issue last night. I have been on CPAP for almost 9 months now. Last night when I put my mask on, it started to make "popping" sounds when I moved my head. My wife said she thought I started knocking on the headboard. I took the mask (Pilairo) apart and put it back together. Same thing....

Re: A better travel case for CPAP machines?
I don't know if it's any good or not, but I've seen ads for the eZe CARRY ON LUGGAGE SYSTEM. It has a section at the top for CPAP. I haven't looked too far into it as I have an S9 and as others have said, the case it came with is sufficient, but thought I'd mention this one since it did look interes...

Re: Help to find supplier. Canadian in US
A poster on another site suggested to try online 'Yellow pages' I ended up finding 2 this way. Called them yesterday morning. One didn't seem to understand, turns out they only carry one brand and mostly things like chi straps. The second one only sold full masks and thus required an Rx. However I a...

Pugsy, thanks for the heads up. I will definitely call before I go to make sure.

Thanks
The Manchester location looks like it's about a half an hour from where I'll be. So I'll likely try that one on Monday. Since closed today can't talk to them to verify.

Re: Help to find supplier. Canadian in US
I'm only on the US for a few days so mail is not an option.
I don't have the Rx with me. Is it needed for parts? I had thought it was only needed for entire masks.

Help to find supplier. Canadian in US
I am in transit to the US and the cushion for my Pilairo nasal mask didn't make into my bag. I will be in the Nashua, NH area.
Can anyone direct me to where I can purchase a replacement in that area?

Re: First time traveling with CPAP (S9)
Evidently no one uses the humidifier on a plane. I know it just pops off the S9, so do you just hook your hose onto the part that usually connects to the humidifier? If you are using the ClimateLine hose (the heated one that has orange on the end), I don't think it will fit. I think you need the no...

Re: Pilairo Q users, how often do you get new parts?
Sounds like there may be an issue with mine then as I make sure it is snapped in place and there have been times that when I've snapped it back in place it comes loose again later in the night.
I do wash mine every couple of days with baby shampoo. Maybe overwashing?

Re: Pilairo Q users, how often do you get new parts?
Thanks for the reply Pugsy. I had used the original version when I was on the trial and then bought the Q when I bought the equipment. I think the only change is the diffuser and the second set of adjustable headgear. I'm going to do as you suggest and examine the attachement area and then take it i...
