Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
So, I took the plunge and bought the AirFit P10 from Amazon. I currently use a FFM and for awhile now have been thinking of changing. I've slept with it for 2 nights so far and am still trying to get used to it. I love not having any pressure on the bridge of my nose or my forehead but I've also fou...

Re: air intake into belly?
Yup, have this problem as well when my mask is fit too tight (eliminating the natural leak). I've gotten used to it, I wake up and for the next 30 minutes or so its gas city. Kind of funny sometimes but I digress Nothing to worry about, really. I guess you can take some Gas-X or something similar if...

Re: Please Help CPAP vs Autoset CPAP
So, as a Respiratory Therapist myself (and current CPAP/APAP user for OSA), this is what I can offer (and by no means should this replace advice from your sleep doctor or general physician): I have been using fixed CPAP of 15 for the past 2 years. I have a machine capable of APAP and have lately bee...

Re: Just wanted to intro!
I actually have downloaded SleepyHead and am trying to import my data but the program tells me "Couldn't find any new machine data to import." I'm trying to import from our home network printer (which has the SD card reader). I am going to try and copy the entire card contents over to my PC and try...

Re: Just wanted to intro!
Thank you all for the kind words and welcome Having spent my clinical career in the Pediatric ER/Pediatric ICU, I can say I haven't had much experience with chronic OSA patients, so I definitely have a lot to learn. I've already garnered some new learning just from the few threads I have read on her...

Re: Anyone use REMzzz mask liners?
I used them for a week and, while I did feel like it cut down on leaking and kept a more snug feeling, I'm just not sold on using them every time I sleep. As was mentioned before, if you have to mess with your mask at all during sleep, you also have to readjust the liner. Also, I feel like it would...

Just wanted to intro!
Hey all, just wanted to throw my hat into the community ring and introduce myself, maybe get some similar stories/experiences, etc. I am 33 years old and a Respiratory Therapist a hospital (for 7 years). Followed in my dad's footsteps - who also suffered from OSA and used CPAP. Took me a few years a...
