Re: Resmed S9 autoset problems
You all have given me a good place to start. Since I don't have a backup cpap, I'll buy a new power cord and start with that. In the meantime, I won't use the humidifier and hopefully get a good night's sleep. Thank you all for your help!

Re: Resmed S9 autoset problems
The sd card is always in it, except when I rarely take it out to look at the data in sleepyhead. When the machine was rebooting last night, it showed the sd card reading message... even though it hasn't been taken out for months.

Resmed S9 autoset problems
I've had my Resmed S9 autoset for two years. The last two nights it has shut off during the night; twice last night and once the night before. It flashes the Resmed logo over and over, and then it takes a very long time to read the sd card. After that it starts blowing air without pressing the "on" ...

Re: Are All DME's Bad?
I had a horrible experience with my doctor's sleep clinic staff. I made a big mistake by not educating myself ahead of time, I was a lamb being sent to slaughter. The sleep clinic was going to "handle everything for me." After the titration study I got a phone call from their staff telling me how mu...

Re: Apria
I think your doctor/clinic or whoever sent the RX to Apria should have confirmed what DME you wanted to use; you are the customer, not the doctor... but of course the doctor may be in cohorts with the DME. When you call for a copy of your RX, tell them they should have asked you who you wanted. I d...

Re: SoClean airflow restriction?
I've been using the SoClean 2 with my S9 for a couple of weeks. I've not noticed any pressure decrease. My only complaint is with the small rubber hose that goes into the humidifier. It makes the removal of the tank difficult. I've been having to carefully fill it with the tank in the S9 base. DITT...

Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE
I have a brand new swift fx mask I'd like to trade for an Airfit P10 mask. I also have brand new large swift fx pillows to trade for large Airfit P10 pillows. PM if interested. Just to let you know, the sizes of pillows on the Swift FX are different than the AirFit P10. I use medium on the FX, but ...

I just finished putting the two masks together and I'm trying it out while watching t.v. Wow, it's really comfortable! We'll see how it goes tonight. Thanks Pugsy!!

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
My hybrid with AirFit P10 hose/pillow and Swift FX headgear worked just fine. Slept well. No problems. So guys and gals....those of you who hate the one size fits all headgear..and have an old Swift FX headgear laying around...you can merge them to have headgear that will adjust very easily. I will...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
Have attempted to use the AirFit 10 for 3 nights but each time I've woken up 2-3 hours in and had to remove it because of intense stinging and pain around my nostrils. I guess my head is too big for it as I can't seem to adjust it. I had a similar experience, but I decided to try and stretch the he...

Re: How old were you when diagnosed (another stupid poll type th
I started snoring after having kids, mid to late 30's. In my mid 40's my husband told me I was not breathing for several seconds while sleeping. Recently, early 50's, I started waking up gasping for breath in the middle of the night. All along I thought it was no big deal until I had my "ah-ha" and ...

Re: SoClean airflow restriction?
Anyhow, the SoClean manufacturers have provided me with the company (McMasters-Carr) and part numbers for a grommet (1061T13) and a female (51525K283) and a male (51525K273) quick disconnect to run the thin ozone tubing directly into the humidifier tank so I won't have to use the adapter (they cost...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
My only complaint is that the hose does not rotate at the connection to the mask and sometimes twists a bit too much with change of sleeping positions. When this happens, I don't need to take off the mask; I simply unkink the hose by twisting the fitting which attaches the mask hose to the long hos...

Re: FIRST night with CPAP machine
I will try to change my clinical settings again. I don't remember hearing a beep. But I DO remember seeing all the screens/options the person in the video saw. Only he was able to change the settings, whereas I could only scroll up and down, and couldn't change them. I'll try again tonight. This ma...
