Re: Preparing for Kaiser Follow-Up Visit
Marc, I too have Kaiser and I have some very definite opinions in this regard. Generally I personally think that, at least here in Northern CA Kaiser does a pretty good job. (Personal opinion, no arguments please.) The problem however in the sleep lab area I think, is that there are so many people w...

Re: SleepyHead Data
Okay, that was clear. So since my AHI is pretty much at 1.0, should I just now focus on comfort? I can only discern comfort before I go to sleep (inhale requires "sucking", or exhale requires "pushing") or after I wake up in the morning. When I do wake up occasionally during the night, I have no sen...

SleepyHead Data
I’m looking at my SleepyHead data and I see under “Details” that my EPAP =5.0, my IPAP = 12, and my PS = 7.0. Under the “Event Breakdown” for the same day, I see Min EPAP = 5.0, Max EPAP = 5.5. For Min IPAP I see 7.0, and max IPAP = 11.0. For PS I see min =2.0 and max PS = 5.5. So I believe the Deta...

Where/How to Sell a C-Pap Machine
I have a C-Pap machine that I used for about 6 months and is good condition (PR System One 60 Series REMstar Auto CPAP Machine with Humidifier and carry bag). What is the best way to sell such equipment?

Re: Pugsy's Pointers...SleepyHead Tutorial and TX Hints
It seems that we both have the same machine, so I'm wondering why the scales on my "Leak" and on my "Pressure" graphs are somewhat different from yours. Also, I know I've seen this someplace, but can you give me the definitions for the Event Flag left side markers? Plus a couple of mine are differen...

Re: Bilevel vs AutoB
It turns out that I had previously seen your tutorial and had tried to produce a printed copy to read more easily than on the computer. Unfortunately neither my attempt to copy it over to a Word document or to print it directly, would produce any of the graphs. Am I doing something wrong is this jus...

Re: Bilevel vs AutoB
Thanks. I'm guessing that this has all come up more than a few times before, but I'm feeling like I'm getting closer and closer to the point where I can pretend to be intelligent here. I greatly appreciate all of your help. So having said that, I have a few more questions about the SH data: Leaks, w...

Re: Bilevel vs AutoB
Okay, I read the PR description, but it seems to me to be a minor adjustment, true?

Comfort? Is that more air? Less Air? Warm Air? I don't get it.

Re: Bilevel vs AutoB
Okay, so my goal last night was to see if my very dry mouth was actually coming from leakage as a result of my mouth opening. So I taped my mouth (yeah I know that's not something I want to generally do.) Since my pressure values were flat all night, I'm assuming that I accidentally set the Mode at ...

Bilevel vs AutoB
My PR BiPap Auto Biflex 760P has three "mode" settings. Two are "Bilevel and another is AutoB. What are the distinctions.
