My sleep Dr. just prescribed me Requip for restless legs. (I had 354 leg movements in my last sleep study.) I'm sorry to hear about your struggle with the bipap, but from what I read you are not alone.
Is there anything in particular that makes it so hard?

I spoke to the DME this morning and was told my prescription is for Bilevel 11/4.

Does anybody have thoughts on using CPAP at the same time as an oral appliance to move the jaw forward?
Could this allow the possibility of lower pressures being used?

I turn mine off for about 5 seconds.

What was the mask that was used on your titration study that worked so well?

Thanks Pugsy. I felt bad for a little while not needing the ASV because Dr.Krakow is so in favor of them. But I believe that I have read here that they are the hardest to get used to. They used a Resmed S9 titration model at the sleep lab. I need to read up to see if I can understand the differences...

I had my titration last night and was on "plain" bilevel the whole time. Started out at 8/4 and ended up at 13/9. Easier to exhale than CPAP. I am at 8 on CPAP. Hopefully will not have to wait too long to hear the Sleep Doctor's decision.
