Re: Requip for leg movement
To answer your detailed questions kteague. The sleep study diagnoses Periodic Limb Movements in Sleep. The plot of the leg movements on the sleep study shows that they completely go away at the 12/8 and 13/9 bilevel pressures during the second half of the night, but these pressures have a higher AHI...

Requip for leg movement
My sleep Dr. just prescribed me Requip for restless legs. (I had 354 leg movements in my last sleep study.) My leg movements went away at higher titrated pressures but not at my prescribed 11/7 bilevel pressures. Does anybody here use Requip? Do higher pressures help with restless legs? Thanks. Edit...

Re: Might be joining the Bilevel or ASV Club
I'm sorry to hear about your struggle with the bipap, but from what I read you are not alone.
Is there anything in particular that makes it so hard?

Oral appliance with CPAP
Does anybody have thoughts on using CPAP at the same time as an oral appliance to move the jaw forward?
Could this allow the possibility of lower pressures being used?

Re: Time Change - ResMed AutoSet S9
Go to "OPTIONS" which is below "SETTINGS" (where the pressure is) in the pictures on the left side of the screen, and then to time on the bottom of the list.

Re: Might be joining the Bilevel or ASV Club
Thanks Pugsy. I felt bad for a little while not needing the ASV because Dr.Krakow is so in favor of them. But I believe that I have read here that they are the hardest to get used to. They used a Resmed S9 titration model at the sleep lab. I need to read up to see if I can understand the differences...

Re: Might be joining the Bilevel or ASV Club
I had my titration last night and was on "plain" bilevel the whole time. Started out at 8/4 and ended up at 13/9. Easier to exhale than CPAP. I am at 8 on CPAP. Hopefully will not have to wait too long to hear the Sleep Doctor's decision.
