Yes I am playing doctor. I suggested that he could try it for a week and see. At this point he doesn't want to do a sleep study.

Re: *Both* titrations were a fluke?
do you use sleepyhead? You shouldn't need to change your max ps. Is there a reason you want to change that?

Re: *Both* titrations were a fluke?
What were your original settings when you got your asv? Epap and your ps settings? The reason I ask is my original settings were epap 7 and ps min 3 and ps max 15. I messed around with epap and also ps. I was up to min ps of 6. Thinking I was going in the right direction. I also was up to 10 on epap...

Sorry yes I see that now. I meant to ask what his original settings were. I think Justin has changed his settings. I think I remember that from a previous post of mine.

Re: *Both* titrations were a fluke?
Justinjustin, What are your current settings now. I wouldn't change anything until we know what your current settings are now. Your machine is pretty smart, that's why your on an asv machine. What are your problems right now? Once we know your settings and problems then I think we can help you bette...

Question about DME
I was at my Cardiologist appointment yesterday and had some time waiting for the doctor to do his thing. So I started talking to the people in the room with me and started complaining about the disconnect between the patient and the medical community. Related to cpap. They thought that some of the p...

Re: *Both* titrations were a fluke?
I am also on an asv machine since may. when I was on bipap, I would sleep around 8 hours a night with maybe waking up once throughout the night, sometimes I would sleep straight through. I was not feeling better on the bipap and was also having a lot of centrals. I was using sleepyhead, so I went to...

Re: New cpap user and congestion - HELP!!
I have been reading this forum for over a year, and I just went into my clinical setup and realized that the humidity and temp setting was on auto. I changed it to manual and now I can adjust humidity and temp settings separately. I would change temp from 60 to 80 and I am still having problems. Loo...

Re: My Asv tritration
My question is. On the lower settings of ASV there were a large number of central events. What treats centrals? Epap or IPAP?

Re: Successful Transition from Full to Nasal?
I had been using a ffm for the last 3 months. I switched to a nasal mask 5 days ago. So far so good. Monitor your leak rates. That will tell you if you can use a
nasal mask.

Re: looking for asv sleepyhead reports
Thanks for the reports so far. I have been raising my ps and every time I raise it I keep feeling better and better. currently at ps of 5. I think that by raising the
ps the machine isn't disrupting my sleep as much and can still go as high as it wants to treat the centrals. my ps max is 6.

I will post further information after I see some other reports. I think I probably could of stuck with my bipap. http://s743.photobucket.com/user...
