Re: Do you find ramp up useful?
I absolutely HATE the ramp feature and I NEVER use it! When I go to bed and put my mask on I want the air NOW. I do not want to wait for it to slowly ramp.

Re: Should Trump Drop Out
How dare anyone try and "blame" the mainstream republican party for any "perceived" failure of the worst president in American history, Barack Hussein Obama! Obama gotten EVERYTHING he ever asked for from the RINOs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Obama got... The massive pork-u-lus spending bill (almost $900 million)...

Dry throat and mouth with new Resmed machine...
I have set my new Resmed S10 humidity to the Auto setting. I even raised and lowered humidty levels, turned the heated hose to various settings and even off, but I keep having a dry mouth and throat to the point I often wake up! I NEVER had any trouble when using my old Resmed Elite set at 9 with my...

Re: What is ethically reasonable to ask of us?
My doctor told me to never even take a nap without using my cpap, so why am I then forced by my insurance company every 2 years to have an additional sleep study sleep without using a cpap....This is DANGEROUS! We know we have sleep apnea so why put our heart and lives at risk sleeping without one i...

Re: Think I need a different mask - how to find the 'right' one?
I love and have used my Mirage Activa LT for over 6 years. It is sooooo comfortable and easy to adjust. And, it does not have to be tight to get a good seal.
Don't be afraid to try new masks.

Re: WHY!!!
How good or bad is the new Resmed Air10 machine?
My wife doesn't like the idea of someone else having the ability to change my pressure remotely like we were told this machine is capable of doing.
Is this a good or bad concept?

Re: WHY!!!
I haven't had the office appointment with the doctor yet to get my prescription.
This time I'll get a physical prescription (they never gave me one the first time) and buy a second machine to have on hand.

Re: WHY!!!
It is funny you say that because the doctor never even asked to look at the numbers shown on the machine (hours/days used). If he had, he would have at least seen that I have been almost 100% compliant for 6 years.

Re: WHY!!!
Yes, in order for me to get a new machine paid for by my insurance company they required that I go for a "new" sleep study.
Therefore, I had to go for another sleep study, the first sleep study when I was given my current machine was 6 years ago.

WHY!!!
Due to needing a new machine (mine is 6 years old) I had to go for my second ever sleep study. I can honestly say the first test night without the machine was HORRIBLE and SCARY! When I was first diagnosed with severe sleep apnea the doctor told me to not even take a nap without using my machine!!! ...

Re: I hate CPAP.
I guess I'm very lucky as I never had the first issue when I began using my cpap machine 6 years ago. I took to it like a fish in water and now I CAN'T sleep without it. For me I have no problem putting on my mask, turning on my machine and going to sleep. I currently use: Machine - ResMed Escape Na...

Tighness in chest (lungs)
I have been very happy and sleep sooooo much better over the last 4 or so years since getting my first and only cpap machine. Initially when I had my sleep study my oxygen level was dropping to 65%! Since then I have been using a Resmed Escape cpap (set on 9) and a Mirage Activa nasal mask. This com...
